I didn't put in today's date because i am not sure of it...LOL

I just want to start off saying again. Great job Wendy!!!

you inspired me so much i went to the track this morning and ran for 3.5 miles straight!! so i have made the decision to definitely join the race in nov.

how is everyone doing today?

Hey SD and all other violets!

Today I want to start a rotation and yes I have yet to finish a darn one! But I want to attempt Butts and Gutts! But don't be surprised if I fall off! I am terrible at sticking with one. But hopefully I can see this one through!

Today I will have to find a sub. for stepworks which is the first workout for the rotation. So that will be my workout.

SD-How old are your children? Aliens took over my children at 14!LOL! Hope you have a good MIL visit! Is there a such a thing as that?:p

Well preparing for the nascar race today, which I love so much!! Does anyone here watch nascar?

Kim! I'll do Butts and Guts with you! That is my favorite rotation but I haven't gotten thru the whole thing since the 1st time I did it which was when it came out last year LOL!! So we will hold each other accountable to finish it OK?

I just got done w/ AJOCKS 15-15-15-15!! It was awesome!!! It flew by!

So I will pick up w/ Day 2 of B&G tomorrow which is Body Max. Do you have that one Kim? There's a few on there I know I have to sub but that's no biggie.

How are you feeling today Wendy? Accomplished I bet!! :7 I can't wait to give you high fives next Saturday!!!! :7:7

Kali that sounds great! It would really help to have someone there along side me! Yeah, I have bodymax but I don't like it! I posted in the video question forum about subs. and was suggested that I do C&W followed by PLB standing legs. I will probably have to do the legs when I get home from work. I only have an hour in the morning to do my workouts. I am doing Powermax in place of stepworks today! Fiddlefit also gave me a suggestion for LIS. That was Lowmax w/u and intervals 1-3 c/d and stretch. That sounded pretty good.


I will have to try that Mish-Mosh sometime Kali! I bet that one is a sweater!


I will check back in later after the race goes off and I am able to get the tv. to exercise!!

I'm so glad you want to do this together. I've been meaning to do this one again, but didn't feel like doing it myself LOL! It IS a great rotation even w/ subs.

I just did the power circuits from Body max today! x( I really don't feel like doing them again tomorrow but I will! I only have an hour in the AM too so maybe I'll save the UB portion for later in the day.

Have a good workout. And remember WE ARE STICKING TO THIS!!! LOL! ;)

kim- my children are 5 (soon to be 6 in dec) and 1. I think aliens already have a hold on them, LOL. how many children do you have?

kali- thanks girl. i am already feeling nerve-racked, lol. i wish i could join you on the butts and guts rotation but i just finished putting my rotation together which includes alot of running,hahaha.
 
SD-That is so cool you have twins too! I have boy/girl twins! They will be 15 in Nov. and boy let me tell you that it is quite an experience! They are good kids but just the normal teenage troubles are enough to drive you crazy!LOL!

Are your children alike in personality or different? I would notice even when young that they would compete with each other!

Hey ladies,

I just completed day one of Butts and Guts with Powermax in place of stepworks. I love this step workout and the music! I just have a hard time doing the last section cause my legs are rubber by then! But hey, I made sure I didn't trip over the step though! No,I haven't done that before!:p


where are all of the other violets today?

kim- i think you misunderstood my post ( i re-read what i wrote and it wasn't too clear) i have two boys (not twins) a 5 yr old and a 1 yr old:)
my sister has a boy and girl twins and they are definitely a handful!

Hi guys! I did a 3 mile run earlier, and then just got done working abs (using weights when possible) and then shoulders and back. I am definately making great strength improvements.

have fun with your new rotation, and SD- enjoy your MIL's visit!

Shrinking Violets Check-in

Even though I woke up early yesterday morning, it was not an overly productive day. After my Bible study, I did the warm-up and kick and punch combinations from Kick Max followed by the Muscle Max lower body premix, which is short and sweet. Gym Style Legs is a more complete workout, but this one is good too. I went to the club and jogged in the pool, ran a few errands, and took a long nap in the afternoon.

I did the abs from Muscle Max last night and bounced on my rebounder. I also planned my menus for this week and fine tuned my next 3-week rotation that will start after my recovery week. I decided to combine the Hardcore Series with the Intensity Series for variety. I definitely want to plan an effective rotation that delivers results, but I want to enjoy the journey above all else. I am looking forward to doing IMAX2 and Cardio and Weights again. They are not as challenging as the Hardcore Series workouts, but I love the joy I experience with them. For the first 2 weeks, I am planning to stick with the same format that worked so beautifully for me this month. My general game plan for the first 2 weeks includes a 4-day split Monday morning through Thursday morning, cardio Friday morning, and circuit training Saturday morning. I am planning to use Leaner Legs and Pyramid Upper Body for my weight work. I will add abs and stretching at night. The third week will be a little different this time in that I am planning to alternate cardio workouts and circuit training workouts. The fourth week will be a recovery week again.

I enjoyed the second segment of Stretch Max last night. I never imagined that I would find so much joy in moving my body. I am getting fitter and stronger and lighter and more flexible every week. It is so exciting for me to experience the way my body feels during workouts now. I am starting to be able to move in ways I never imagined. It is hard to describe in words, but I feel like a newborn in so many ways.

Today was a planned rest day. I moved my sofa and end table, dusted, vacuumed the sofa, and steam cleaned the carpet behind the sofa. The carpet is dry now, so I need to move the furniture back before I call it a day. I have some fun non-Cathe workouts waiting for me in the morning. My meals and snacks are packed for tomorrow. I am planning to eat organic whole wheat pasta for lunch to fuel my body for my friend’s cardio boot camp class after work. Then I will have a week of TLTs, gentle cardio, and stretching. I am looking forward to enjoying functional fitness and dance cardio workouts for a refreshing change of pace.
