Shrinking Violets - Monday 12/4/06

Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I started the the thread. Today I had an early dental appointment so no workout. DD and her boyfriend met us for dinner last night. It was nice to have a chance to visit and I didn't pig out which is a good thing. Today I am working from home and waiting for the vet to call me back. Our old dog is having some heavy arthritis issues and I hope they can come up with some relieve for her. Hope everyone else gets their workout in.

today's workout was GS legs. I haven't done that one in so long. it felt really good. i wonder if i will have any DOMS tomorrow...hmmm.

Hi gals!

I was supposed to go to the gym for a run and then do GS legs standing only today but I never made it to the gym. I had other things that needed to be done instead so when I came home I did GS legs in full (as opposed to just standing) and B&G abs. I will make up the missed run some time this week. Cardio is not in my rotation every day so it should be easy enough to fit that in. :) I'm feeling nice and fried right now. }(

Jean, I hope the vet has a good solution to make your pup more comfortable. Glad you enjoyed dinner last night as well.

Sunny, We must have been thinking with the same brain today! I cheated though...I put B&G abs in between the standing and floor work of GS legs to give myself a break!:p
 
Wendy--CHEATER!!! Just kidding. Actually that was pretty smart!!

SD- good one for you too! Iam contemplating doing legs tonight, so maybe I will since ya'll did!

Jean-- aawwww, hope the pup feels better soon! Glad you had a nice dinner!

Yes Drill Sergeant Wendy!
I worked LB, doing rep pattern as follows for every move:
8 singles, 8 2-2 count, 4 7-pulses, 4 4-4 count, 8 singles

squats
static lunges each leg
50 calve raises 5lb AW
outer thigh liftss on ball, 5# AW
one leg squat with rear leg elevated, 10# DB, each leg
hamstring lifts on ball 5# AW each leg
inner thigh lifts 5# AW
glute squeezes on the ball 25 reps
standing leg extensions 5# AW, 15 reps each leg

Then I did the 25 min cardio kick box, then PUB abs, PLB stretch

Have a wonderful night ladies. I wonder who won't be able to walk tomorrow?
