Hi Deb, Josie, Valerie, Lori, and Judy--
This morning I did KCM's Cardio Sculpt Fitness (70:00), another oldie but goodie. Another circuit workout, but with occasional high intensity intervals--cardio, weights, interval, repeat weights--and then move on to the next cardio. Flies by.
Well, Arthur just kept us totally in rain the whole 4th--some band that extended all the way down to N.C. and was very slow getting out of here. DH did the grilling anyway, so we had a nice meal. Before the meal, we watched the Colombia-Brazil soccer game, and it was WILD. If the referee had stopped for every foul there probably would have been another hour of stoppage time. Brazil won, but they lost one major defender to a red card, and their favorite striker won't be in because of a broken vertebra. It will be very interesting to see them play Germany, because Germany is not so crazy with fouls. It was too wet to really enjoy the town parade or the big re-opening of the Clark Art Museum with their new modern addition. Just stayed at home and cleaned the house and readied everything for our dinner. Heard some fireworks later, but the only thing that really bothers Max are those whistling ones followed by a boom.
Lori, I had my appendix out when I was 28. It does sound like you have a LOT of workouts to choose from. I'm not buying any for awhile, instead going back to ones I did earlier. I am a little tired of doing Cathe every day, so I'm pulling in some other trainers for variety.
Hubbard Street was great at Jacob's Pillow yesterday, and once again, we had such lovely weather. A lot of variety on the program in terms of choreography. There's a Spanish choreographer named Duato that really is wonderful. He had a piece for the Hong Kong Ballet a couple weeks ago and one yesterday for Hubbard that were so, well, sexy-sensual.
Hope everything has quieted down for you Valerie. That sounds horrendous.
Enjoy the rest of the holiday everyone!
