It's spin and chin-ups for me today!

Last night's class was good. 1/4 mile repeats for speed. Someone said we ran 3.5 miles total. Great work out. Kicked my arse!}(
 
Hello all

Just catching up on the laundry, dishes, vacuuming, etc. - it never ends. I wanna get the house spiffied up so I don't have to come home to a dirty house, but it's kinda pointless doing it this early in the week. The boys will definitely not let that fly for 3 more days.}(

I think I have plyo on tap for today and maybe I'll tackle it early so I can just get it over with. I'm still tempted with the CC workouts, but I need an ipod! I talked to a friend downstate who said she is looking for one too and that she knows a distributor who can get her an extra 20% off - she's gonna look into it and let me know. I told her I would share my CD's with her if she could get me a good deal.:) She's knows I'd share anyways.:7

Wow - Wendy sounds like you have an awesome workout yesterday. I'm jealous - sounds like fun. Do you prefer to workout with others or by yourself? I've never really worked out with anyone before but I'm sure it would be interesting.

Hey Ladies ..

I am alive .. LOL!!

Hope everyone had a beautiful Mother's Day .. I did ... laying by the pool w/my babies! visited w/my mother that morning .. and had the afternoon to myself .. it was wonderful.

Had a Dr. apnt w/a new specialist about my frequent kidney stones .. I LOVED him!! He thinks my kidney stone problem is metabolic!! :eek: have to run some more tests . and some not so fun ones .. but I feel like he will get to the bottom of it!!

Had to cancel class last night b/c the Dr. apnt was out of town .. and I found out that one my students decided THEY would teach my fitness class .. WTH???? I was (and am) none too happy about that ... x( ... going to have to have a talk w/them .. can't imagine what all they did (hope no one was hurt) .. b/c this girl is the one that has a problem w/overexercising .. I suspect she is on some kind of speed .. b/c she is HYPER .. she is always one beat ahead on everything and extremely bouncy .. could not control her body if she had to.. WAY HYPER.. in fact her nickname is Cardio Crackhead! aahhhh .. there is always something .. so going to have some NOT TOO FUN business to deal with .. after my stressfull day in the asylum!!!

got my workouts in over the weekend .. took yesterday as my forced rest day due to Dr. appnt .. today going to go in class and PUNISH them for being bad!!!}( }( LOL (poor people)

Ok . will be back later for personals .. just wanted to let you know I did not drop off the face of the earth!!

Hi Ladies,

I did KPC this morning. I thought it would feel great to do all that kicking after doing PLB last night. I used 40-45-50 pounds for PLB and felt great! The stability ball is great, my hamstrings were on fire during those tucks:) I hope to do an upper body workout tonight. I'm going back to working upper one day & lower the next for a few weeks. I'm also trying to keep 5-6 days of cardio. We'll see how it goes.

Wendy-great job on the repeats-those are tough. I guess the tougher w/o is the hill repeats, oh my.

Angie-cleanmax?? I know it needs to be done, but the problem is, it's never done. Have fun with Plyo.

Laura-hope your new Dr. can help you out. I'd be concerned too about one of your students teaching the class. It sounds like you had a great mother's day.

Hey girls!!!

I'm here too. I've cleaned up my eating (at least for the last two days, arrgghh!) Always something to celebrate!!

Wendy, you amaze me with your working out, always have!!! I know you look good in your pics but I bet you look GREAT in person!!!

Angie - I'm tired of playing house. Always so much to do....I'm really bored to tears from doing the same things over and over and over and....

Laura - Good luck with your new doc. I'm glad we don't live closer because then I might have to attend one of your classes, and, frankly, you scare me!!!!! LOL - it's probably what I need though...a good kick..........

Tonight is a walk in the park followed by some good upper body work.

Angie: I'm confused. If you have the CC cd's then what do you mean you are tempted? What are you tempted by?? I like working out both alone and with others. Working out with others can give me the boost I need to "bring it" where if I were home I might not try as hard cause no one is "watching" and there is no one to "compete" with. Housework is a losing battle with little ones running around. Heck, it's a losing battle with a husband running around if you ask me!:p :7

Laura: Now that you have a new doc I hope he can help you. Having frequent stones does NOT sound fun. My DH had kidney stones almost exactly one year prior to my son being born. He was in tears from the pain. What's up with a student trying to teach your class??? That's ridiculous unless she was just having fun and not SERIOUS about it!

Diana: Sounds like you have a killer work out plan set up for yourself! I hope it works for you! :) The jury is still out on which work out was harder between the hill repeats and the speed repeats! LOL They were both pretty intense!}(

Nancy: So what will your upper body work out of choice be? We are going to the park too! We are packing dinner and then DH and I will spend some time chasing a crazy 2 year old around the jungle gym! :+ TY for the compliments. You are so sweet. :)

Spin was fantastic and my chin ups are done. I did my usual reverse grip and added some assisted wide grip to the agenda. FUN! }(
 
Hey again all

PlyoX is over! I didn't get it done early b/c there was too much cleanmax. Sometimes I wonder why I bother.... I kinda hit the wall in the middle of the workout and struggled to finish. My belly was getting bloated and I was feelin icky.x( I finished though.:7 It was probably as close to needing the bucket as any workout I've ever done. I thought, oh well, the bathroom is right close. Thankfully didn't need to make a mad dash. It will definitely be the X B&B tomorrow - NO Cardio!:eek:

Wendy - I meant I'm tempted to do the CC's but I can't do much with it b/c I don't have an MP3 player. I guess I could play one in a CD player and use the stationary bike, but I don't usually do the bike so I'm sure it would kick my butt in no time flat. But....I'm tempted to try it.}( I just haven't had the extra time lately.
I hear ya with the whole housework thing - even more of a losing battle with all males in the house.:(
Way to go on those chin ups. How many can you do unassisted now?

Laura - sounds like you have been busy! I sure hope your new doc can get ya fixed up. Stones are no laughing matter. Thankfully I've never had one, but I've taken care of plenty of folks who have. One minute they are fine and dandy and the next minute they are in a writhing ball of pain.x( If he can figure out a way for you to prevent them life will be much happier for you.:)

Diana - 5-6 days of cardio on top of what you are already doing?? Holy cow! Hats off to you. I'll bet the scales will start falling your way soon. Keep up the incredible workouts.;-)

Nancy - Sounds like you have a great plan. Are you gonna do Cathe UB or Tony UB? Actually, I found that doing Tony's strength combined with Cathe cardio works great for me. The workouts are fun, challenging, and effective when done this way.

Cahty - Where'd ya go? Are you feeling better?
