HATE - Sept 9

August

Cathlete
Good morning!

I'm back!

Warning! Monster post ahead. http://planetsmilies.net/vicious-smiley-1814.gif

http://bestsmileys.com/reading/4.gif

I was in Shanghai. Has anyone ever been? The traffic is a riot. Like, I was car sick the entire trip LOL. http://bestsmileys.com/sick/7.gif

There was one time we were in a taxi and needing to turn left, so the taxi driver prepared to turn left by merging to the far right lane of a 6-lane street LMAO! So we're waiting at the light at the far right, waiting to turn left, and we're all freaking out because nobody in the car speaks any Chinese, when all of a sudden, TAP TAP TAP TAP! And there's a cop at the taxi driver's window. Mind you, there are cars buzzing by at full speed going all directions at once this whole time. Anyway, our taxi driver rolls the window down and for a couple minutes he and the policeman have a yelling match about WTH knows.

Then the cop leaves. And the driver turns the engine off.

http://bestsmileys.com/clueless/2.gif

So we're all sitting there in the cab (it's me and my work partner, plus two guys from London) like, Umm, ladee-dadee-ladee-dah WTH's going on? Meanwhile, millions of cars are racing off from all directions while we are in our taxi, in the middle of the road, with the engine off. And the driver is just sitting there. And I'm starving. And car sick. LMAO!

http://bestsmileys.com/falling/1.gif

It was both funny and not funny all at the same time. We sat there for like ten minutes in the middle of the road with the engine off for no apparent reason. Then the taxi driver turned the engine back on, and turned left from where we were in the right-hand lane, weaving in and out between the other cars zooming by, along with several dozen motorbikes and cycles. Whatever!

Quite the adventure.

Anyway, I'm so happy to be back to normalcy with my squirrels http://bestsmileys.com/sparkle/1.gif. I was so exhausted last night (I got home around midnight from the airport - poor babysitting Mom stayed up late for me to come pick them up), I wanted to play with them some and then go to sleep, but Mooch would have nothing of the sleep part.

I'd fall asleep and then I'd hear Cham yelping "noooooo!" and I'd wake to see that Mooch was trying to do his little mounting thing and grabbing hold of Cham's neck. So I'd pry open his teeth and move him to my other side away from Cham. Then I'd fall asleep and hear Cham yelping "nooooooo!" again, and I'd have to do the de-teeth/neck thing again. It kind of became like a little game allllllll through the night, that nut, Mooch.

That reminds me, they have their operations next Monday. http://bestsmileys.com/crying/3.gif

Anyway, I don't mind the lack of sleep due to my little squirrels. I'm just primarily thankful that they choose to sleep on the bed with me. http://bestsmileys.com/rainbow/3.gif

TERRI - WTH have you been, woman?! LOL. Welcome back! We're so happy to see you again. Of course, don't be intimidated by long, dreary posts and think you must post them, too. Any kind of post is fabulous.

While I was in Shanghai, I was told that I should use the word "fabulous" more often because "August, darling, everybody LOVES to be called fabulous!"

JEN - So anyway, as I was saying, I'm so glad to hear that you did get together with this guy and that you ended up having a good time. That's great that the conversation flows so easily. Maybe he'll have some interesting tips for your working out (or is he just owning the gym?).

>Got my hair done tonight

Did you get it trimmed? Or something new?

Does Storm get shrimp every day? It's a treat?

>somewhat "full of himself and set in his ways" were her words, but really cute!

LMAO. What an interesting thing to say to try to set you up. But he's a vet. That could be...convenient LOL. On second thought, I'm not much for guys who are full of themselves. Not that I'm the one being offered the set up LOL.

MICHELE - WTH is a salt delivery?!

>I'm not starting my rotation until Sunday

This is a new twist. What's going on. Something must be going on LOL.

So did you go to.... MMGHH? I'm praying. (Oh! I've read that my prayers were answered! Yay! LOL.)

I'm sending good vibes out to your sister. That must be such a process - so much to be done....and so much to be felt. I hope it will go as smoothly as possible for all involved.

That's wonderful news about Nancy and her last chemo treatment. How really great that things are going so well.

Hey, guess what I bought in Shanghai? I bought Seasons 1-5 (or was it 6) of MONK on DVD (Chinese cheapo DVD - I hope nobody is offended by that - not the word cheapo, I mean buying those fake DVDs)! I also got the complete FRASIER box set, so I have like 100 DVDs now LOL. They were dirt cheap and I just couldn't resist.

Wish your DH a wonderful birthday! The restaurant will be fantastic, I'm sure! I hope you try the fish!! http://bestsmileys.com/fishing/1.gif

>creamy milk chocolate bar releases chunks of buttery sweet toffee

OMG.

>I'm frankly really enjoying all this dating talk.

Me, too, though I'm a bit perturbed by the lack of nitty-gritty information. LOL.

I'm just now reading your latest post about your lovely birthday dinner at the French bistro.

Ooh, orange cheesecake. Somehow that makes me want to eat a Creamsickle.

>I would rather do an IMAX 3 cardio marathon than eat a piece of seafood

Take that back! Take that back! You can't mean that!

You must have had some really awful seafood in your life. You MUST come visit me here in Tokyo, and I will get you some killer fish. You don't even like grilled salmon?

>Now we need to find a date for Augie

http://bestsmileys.com/blushing/6.gif

>I'm starting that Look Great in 8 (LGI8) rotation tomorrow

http://bestsmileys.com/cheering/1.gif Yay, Michele!!

>It will be your duty to hold me accountable, K?

http://bestsmileys.com/army/8.gif YAY!

ROBIN - I watched a show once about why oftentimes when your nose gets stuffed up, it's stuffed up in only one nostril. Well, apparently, your nostril workmen take turns so as not to exhaust. Even when your nose isn't stuffed up, although you're not aware of it, you're always breathing deeper through one nostril while the other is "resting."

Fascinating, I know http://bestsmileys.com/freak/5.gif . And off the TV, so it might not even be true. But I'd been waiting months to be able to write out that useful bit of information. I thank you.

By the way, the cool avator is great! What a fantastic present!

>Greyor passed his hearing test!!

WOO HOO! Great news!

SHELLEY -

>tomorrow's workout is supposed to be yoga, but who the hell does yoga?

LOL.

Eww, dizzy is never good. It's an all-the-time dizzy, or it comes and goes? Have you had that before?

I've just read that it's an inner-ear infection. Uck. How does one get an inner-ear infection? Have you had one before? What do you need to do for it?

DANA - You, too, on the dizzy? That's awful! Could yours also be an ear infection?

>The other day I felt something wet on my arm and it was a very wet stuffed animal. He told me, "I give it bath". Then when I asked him where, he says, "in toilet" "all clean".

OMG. LMAO. And the "ahhh, refreshing/disgusting" bit was great. How funny that he would think to change the word to disgusting at his grandma's. I hope your mom laughed, too!

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that Ralphie is back to his old self. Is his fur growing back all right?

>before I met my DH I was always attracting weirdos.

LMAO!

JENNIE - You know, I've been very inconsistent with my eating and working out for the past number of months, after having been very, very clean and consistent with both for two years. And yet, oddly, I feel like my muscles are still hanging in there, and I'll bet yours are, too. So don't you think you've melted all your hard work down with some extra weight. It's just a simple matter of being more consistent with your cardio, or else a little bit more conscious about eating a smaller portion. No problem and you'll be feeling better soon. Even just a little effort will make the change that will inspire you to want to be more consistent. Hey, you're here, and that's a huge start.

>August, why do you call your cats squirrels?

You know, I don't know how that got started. At first I think it was because I wasn't really planning on talking about the kittens here, and so I figured it wouldn't be talking about them if I didn't call them kittens LOL.

Funny thing happened on our way back to Tokyo from Shanghai with these British guys, we got to talking about pets, and one of the guys told me he has a dog, and then he says,

"Oh, I cannot wait to get home to my little bunny!"

You can imagine my surprise and happy response,

"And I can't wait to go home to my little squirrels!"

I wonder why that is.

DIANE - Glad you're all right! Wow, only three more weeks?! I can't believe it!

JENNIFER - Urgh, contacts from weirdos. I hope it's at least mildly entertaining. http://bestsmileys.com/dancing/8.gif

I'm sorry to hear about your friends' parent passing. And from cancer. That's really such an awful thing to have to deal with. I send good vibes.

>Seville and Madrid bought me a love gift this morning-a dead mouse.

Awwww, aren't they cuties! Luckily, we've not had any mouse over here. Sometimes Mooch brings me his fur puff ball LOL. He'll come up to me while I sleep (thank you) and he'll be munching down on his fur ball and doing his little grrrrrrrrrrrr. I'll wake up and see his spiddled toy in front of my face.

What's this you say, a lost post?! Urgh! How on earth does that happen?!

>any good cat stories?

Well, let's see. I did a big litter box cleaning at Mom's while the 4-some were at my place. As soon as I got them back to Mom's, I decided it would be good to also wash out the water fountain, so I let them go inside and I started in on the fountain. I noticed that Mom's two squirrels went straight for their ultra-clean litter box.

After some time washing out the fountain, I became aware that there wasn't any noise coming from the litter box, so I went to go check things out.

When I peeked in the box, there were Yoyo and Lulu....but the litter box was completely empty because I had totally forgotten to put new litter in! They were standing in there kind of prancing around in circles with a bit of a panicked look on their faces, those cuties, I felt so bad! And yet I laughed so hard.

They were like, "OMG, WTH?! Um,...um....um....WTH? WTH? W--T--H--?!"

http://bestsmileys.com/hyper/1.gif http://bestsmileys.com/hyper/1.gif

Needless to say I rushed my butt to get new litter in, and the moment the litter went down, they were all "OUTTA MY WAY WOMAN!!"

I can't believe they held it that whole time. I felt so bad! LOL.

All right all, I did my arms and abs today and followed it with an egg white on whole wheat mini-sandwich. Ched was involved.

Have a wonderful Sunday and an equally grand ...no, FABULOUS! start to your week!

http://bestsmileys.com/family/1.gif

Here's me babysitting all 4 squirrels today while Mom goes out for lunch with friends. :D

Wow August, you sure did have a lot to say. Didn't you? :7 I'm glad you had a good time. I would of been freaking out in that taxi. I feel better when I'm behind the wheel. :) I'm really working on the clean eating. I know that's what my problem was. And at times still is. But I'll keep at it. I have to.

As for my date, it went really well. I started out thinking that it was going to be a snooze fest but it wasn't. After we ate we stood outside for a bit and then walked up the road to see what movies were playing. Since we didn't see anything we liked we walked back to our cars and went for a couple of drinks. We seem to have a lot in common. And other things not so much. But I really did enjoy myself. I even ate really well. I had something off of the WW menu and had a couple bites of ice cream and a small bite of a brownie. I could of so easily "cheated" but I told myself NO NO NO.

O.k. I'll check back in later today. It's time for me to go to bed.

Jennie.

Imagine, if you will, August, dressed in a tuxedo, with top hat gently clasped between hands, twirling the brim upside down and back again, doing a most elegant soft-shoe.

Now imagine August in a summer dress, dropping an entire bowl of hot red pasta sauce with a couple cups of cottage cheese in it not only into her lap, but all over her sofa, her small table, the various levels of her Step, and her cream-colored rug. She is not doing an elegant soft-shoe.

It's true, and it just happened.

Someone, please laugh! PLEASE LAUGH!

LMAO.

Mooch and Cham looked at me like "What.....Are you doing."

And then Mooch is all, "Cham, I don't know WTH she's doing, but let's eat it." http://bestsmileys.com/eating1/5.gif

The piece de resistance? I'd run out of paper towels about an hour ago LMpoorAO!!

And Michele should get a kick out of this - I'd sat down to watch an episode of The Closer. And now that I've cleaned up, I'm fearing it may only work for Windows?

http://bestsmileys.com/toliot/3.gif

JENNIE - Well, good news to cheer me up, yay! I'm so glad your date went well. Does this mean you'll be seeing him again?

Hello Haters.

August-I love your posts-your stories are great!! Shanghai, never been.

Jennie-Good for you, girlfriend, for having found a good one.

My cats are going to be hating me on Wed. when they go for their 2 year checkups/vaccines. They hate riding in the car, although they haven't been in the Civic yet. They hate the docs but love the assistants.

Ok, I'm happy, I have this week off. My Boss told me that it will be difficult without me. We have changes in our health insurance that is causing some conflict, it's encouraging a healthier and better lifestyle. With the insurance thing plus other stuff, my Boss will miss me for being there for her and the company.

No Weirdos lately. No new communication either.Match.com

Have a Great Day!!

August - are you on meth?:p I think you just won for longest post every, Beloved Heather's Road Trip post included!

Your squirrel stories crack me up. And the whole Shanghai taxi driver in the middle of the road with the engine off thing just makes me go "huh?". I wonder what the story was? Maybe the police officer gave him a time out!!!! :p

Ummmmmmmmmmm.... did you get the pasta sauce mess cleaned up? That sounds like something I would do!

Jennie - your date sounds nice. And way to go for not cheating! I cannot say the same of this weekend. We went to an antique fair yesterday and I had french fries. Now, let me just explain that french fries and corn on the cob were the only two vegetarian options at the whole freakin' place, so really I had no choice:p

Jennifer - how nice that your boss said you'll be missed while you're off! Doesn't that make you feel great? I'm sending smooth ride vibes for the kitties on Wednesday.

August- SO GLAD YOU ARE BACK, YIPEE!!!! :D You must stop leaving us like that, I don't laugh NEAR as much when you aren't around! I read your post last night, actually like 2AM on my way to bed but was TOO tired to reply, I must start getting more sleep- see end of post for reason I wasn't in bed until 2. ;-)

>So I'd pry open his teeth and move him to my other side away from Cham. Then I'd fall asleep and hear Cham yelping "nooooooo!" again, and I'd have to do the de-teeth/neck thing again.

LMAO, that is too funny, poor Cham- maybe Mooch got bored with you being gone and decided to give kitty a porn a shot.

>I'm just primarily thankful that they choose to sleep on the bed with me.

LMAO again, I know the feeling, I feel lucky that at least my cats tolerate me enough to sleep with me! :p

Chad actually owns a personal training business, not a gym. He has I think he said 3 studios aka gym type settings for training. He still does some actual training but has I think 4 other personal trainers that work for him. He's had it for 15 years, I am amazed it's done so well in this town- there aren't a ton that care about fitness. He also does some sports specific training for people also, I think baseball being #1. Still trying to figure it all out, he had 3 people in town this weekend for something, 2 from MI and one from NJ...
I did just get highlights & a trim and the third degree from Jenny- she is the one that "set us up"... she is so funny, she's been calling me daily now to get updates, she can't believe how much he's called me since Wednesday- HUH, do you think that is a slam on me!;-)

>The piece de resistance? I'd run out of paper towels about an hour ago LMpoorAO!!

http://www.emotihost.com/glass7/4.gif[/img] I'm sorry but that is so freaking funny! I am laughing with you!

Jennie- So glad that your date went well last night! What WW dinner did you have? I've had a few of them and they are pretty good, the steak & shrimp kabobs are good and the rice that is served with them is really good. So, did you make plans to meet again?? Are you attracted to him? SO, what are the "other things not so much" that you don't have in common? Are they deal breakers?

Shelley- How are you today? Anything new going on with you?

Okay I am SO tired, Chad ended up talking me into going to dinner with him last night- I wasn't real hungry but he was so we went and I had a salad, it was like 8:30, he had called around 6:30 but I had a 2nd wind so worked out again from 6-7:30 so I didn't call him back until then so thought he'd already eat but nope. Anyway, I let him pick me up here since we live like 2 mins away from each other and the place we were going was on the other side of town. He met the monsters last night also, I was nice and let him come in to meet them. We ended up hanging out and talking until about 1:30 so I wasn't in bed until about 2:30. I am heading to workout now, probably will only get in about 45min-1hour since I need to be showered and out the door by 10:45 and with my lack of sleep this weekend, I am TIRED! I have to drive to meet my mom, sister, brother, and sister-in-law for lunch at 11:30 at Olive Garden-ick! I will have a salad there and probably take a protein bar to eat when heading home, I do not like pasta. Sunny, my sister-in-law, birthday was Friday, I think she is 29- we are not quite 2 years apart, we are meeting in Decatur since half way from where Jeff, Sunny, and Diana live and me and actually it is about 50 min for Mom too so works good. Chad & I get along really well so that is nice, I told him last night that not sure I'll let him see me today- I went out with him on Thurs night and have been with him every day since, normally not something I do. We are both very independent people so not sure why he keeps calling! :p Okay, I am going to try to pry my butt out of this chair and do some sort of workout, will not be DM- I am way too tired for that. I did Shape It Up, BM2 upper body twice, B&G floor work, firewalkers, side to side thrusts, and lunge/squat series, then L&G inner thigh work, and all standing ankle weight work, and a few other segments using the high step but with 3 risers, I think the leg lifts out to the side, and the thing with the genie arms...what does she call those? Anyway, that was my day yesterday- not sure what I'll end up with today!

Good Morning!!! http://bestsmileys.com/weather/1.gif

Yes -- rain...rain...wonderful, glorious rain!!! :)

DH and I were up early this morning and went out to breakfast. Now he's setting up my new this thing http://www.klipsch.com/products/details/igroove-sxt.aspx. Oh man, I love it! Now I can do my CC workout without those ^%*(^% headphones stuck in my ears. I discovered that I don't like headphones of any kind while I'm working out, a fact that became clear as soon as I tried to do the CC PUMP workout. It's not easy lifting weights when you're all strapped with an iPod, IMHO;) . The iPod speaker sounds great, too.

Yesterday I made strides towards insuring clean eating for the next week by cleaning tons of veggies -- celery, carrots, cucumbers, radishes, etc. It feels good to know my "clean" foods are prepped and ready to eat as needed. I pitched all the junk, too, so there's nothing evil to tempt me.

Now, as promised (drum roll, please) -- my LGI8 rotation for the week http://planetsmilies.net/grinning-smiley-17116.gif

Sunday - 60 min of cardio - CC
Monday - circuit workout - CC PUMP
Tuesday - Flexibility training - a segment from Classical Stretch
Wednesday - circuit cardio 25 minutes - one of Cathe's high step w/o's
Thursday - 45 min steady state cardio - elliptidancing:D
Friday - circuit - CC PUMP
Saturday - 40 min steady state cardio - more elliptidancing:D, and a Cathe stretch segment.

D'oh!! My sister is calling -- I need to take it. I'll BBL for personals:* :*

I'm trying to edit while talking on the phone and it ain't easy:p

BBIAB;)

JENNIFER - Oh, I hear you on the hating cars part. My two don't mind getting into the carrier and being carried down to the street, and they don't even mind getting into the car. It's when the taxi starts to move that they hate. Thank goodness we're not taking our kitties to the vets in Shanghai, LOL. All 4 squirrels will get their spay and neuter done a week from tomorrow. I'm a nervous wreck about it.

Anyway, great to hear about your week off (woohoo!) and sorry to hear that you've been short in the weirdos department. http://bestsmileys.com/scifi/2.gif

SHELLEY -

>are you on meth?

I'm on Sees. My Mom's friend sent it back with her for me during her visit to the States. Those Sees. They're hardcore.

>did you get the pasta sauce mess cleaned up?

Hmm. That is questionable. It appears to be light mandarin colored now. It's definitely the biggest spill I've ever had in this apartment. And it's not like it could just fall nicely on the carpet, it's gotta fall down the sides of everything. Cleaning the Step was not a fun thing to do.

And you know, cottage cheese is not cooperative at all.

>That sounds like something I would do!

LMAO. Thank Gawd Aunt Flo is not in my town.

>french fries and corn on the cob were the only two vegetarian options at the whole freakin' place, so really I had no choice

Pfffff! Hey, veggies. What can you do.

JEN - Wooo hoooo! I loooooves to hear the risque stuff! I'm so glad you've been having such a fantastic time out with Chad!

>not sure why he keeps calling!

DUH! I'm not even going to take the time to answer that.

Wow, you introduced him to your monsters and had him inside for a chat, eh? http://bestsmileys.com/talking/5.gif Woo hoo, we like to hear that! Yeah!

I see, a personal training business. Wow! That's really cool! I can see how you might get along. And he's obviously had some good success.

Jenny must have spent a little more time on your hair than usual, eh? http://bestsmileys.com/wink/1.gif

>maybe Mooch got bored with you being gone and decided to give kitty a porn a shot.

Yeah, the nut has been sniffing around a lot lately, if you know what I mean. I guess the timing for the neuter/spay is good....urgh, I just want it to be done and over with!

Oh yeah, the paper towels. Please do laugh. I was laughing. I ran to my cupboard and opened it up and http://bestsmileys.com/rude/1.gif .

Anyway, have a nice lunch at Olive Garden! Wow, I haven't thought about that restaurant in ages!

MICHELE - COOL! Wait. I thought it was your DH's bday? Is that for him? http://bestsmileys.com/thinking/4.gif That is going to make working out totally fun.

Congrats on your first rotation post! And that's fant...fabulous about your eating! I hope you're not cutting EVERYTHING out that is even slightly evil. For Halloween is around the corner and we all know what that means.

And I ain't talkin' about Halloween candy.

Nevertheless, congrats on an awesome start!

It's midnight and the squirrels are asleep and I'm not. That's not a good sign. We have a vet appointment tomorrow for the doctor to take tests on them to make sure they're all a-okay for next week's surgery.

Agh, each time I write that I feel nauseous. LOL.

I'm very sorry I didn't make it back here for personals. What a day! I've been clocking some serious phone time with my sister, but at least she sounded a little perkier today. She's...well...in the anger phase:p ;) . She's going shopping next weekend to try and boost her spirits so I sent her a mall gift card. She really doesn't have much money, and I'm kind of worried about her finances.

Anyway -- I can't talk now. I tried to get on a dozen times today and my computer kept shutting downx( . I didn't have any problems with it for about a week and now it's really acting up. I need it to hang on for just a few more weeks;( .

I just finished my workout and now I need to shower and get ready for dinner. I may not have a chance to get back here before tomorrow but I want y'all to know what a ray of sunshine you are in my life:* :*

Hiya haters,

How does everyone keep there motivation? I've got it, but some days I wonder where it's at. Today I didn't work out. I was/am way to tired. I guess that's what I get for staying out late. I feel like such a loser.

Shelley, of course corn and french fries are veggies. Trust me when I say my eating hasn't been great today. I had that B-day party to go today. I had pizza and ice cream cake.

Jennifer, have fun this week while you're off from work. Do you have any plans?

Michelle, I wish ate veggies. I don't buy them because I'd just waste them. I rarely eat them. I know I should, but I dont.

Jen, I'm a very independent person too. Sometimes I ask myself why I'm even looking for that certain someone.

August, I was laughing with you. You poor thing. That sounds like something I'd do. I'm not the most graceful person.

Someone asked me what me and Chris didn't have in common. Or something like that. And I'm sorry I don't remember who it was. Anyways, Chris is into sci-fi and fantasy movies/books. That's totally not my thing. He's also 5'4. Which really isn't a problem for me. I'm 5'6 so it is a little weird. I've always dated guys that were either my height or taller. Not that I'm dating Chris but ya'll get my point. Who knows if this will go anywhere. I've learned not to get my hopes up.

EDTA: Chris is also into 70's and 80's music. As where I like country and pop. Those are the only things, as of now that we dont have in common.

Jennie.

Straighten out, fly right.

Cathe Friedrich

Hello Haters.

Appts planeed for Tues, Wed, and Friday of this week. My afternoons are free. I may drive to my Alma Matur on Thurs, since it's been 23 years since my graduation and haven't been there since. Still need to paint the porch, I bought one of those odd Paintsticks from Menards. I'm only 5'1/2" tall so I need something that extends high.

Michele-Your disclipline to workout is great! Officially, last week, I get back inside to start DVDs instead of power walks but the MI weather has been nice. It will change this week. Can you beam me some of your energy?

My cats need all the positive vibes they can get. I dread Wed AM. Alot of treats will be used to get them in their carriers. They will be mad. It will be best if I paint that afternoon or go to the mall.

Jen and Jennie. Thanks for the weekend updates.

Evening haters! Had a wonderful day today with the family. I hit Von Mauer before coming home- got a shirt, 3 pairs of workout socks-they are actually cool to the touch, and a pair of really comfy flip flops, they have more support in the heal area and are SO CUTE. I hadn't heard of the brand before, REEF- anyone heard of them? I am love shoes... :)

Well I stuck to my guns and didn't do anything with Chad this evening. I did agree though to go over to his place for dinner tomorrow evening after working out- he thinks he's going to get me to eat something besides cereal and protein bars. He said he'll grill out chicken and make sweet potatoes, green beans, and salad- I might eat since he's going to all the trouble! :p

I did Tone It Up this morning, then Reach,BM2 Upper body, and a ten minute floor thigh toner w/o this evening. I really need to do reach type w/o more often but I have a hard time doing a workout that mellow. I have been seeing really good results lately though since I've went back to doing more AWT workouts, more upper body, less high impact, and less cardio but more interval cardio when doing it.

Jennie- That was me that asked about Chris... ugh, sci-fi, huh? I am NOT a fan of it at all either... he is REALLY into it or is it tolerable? That may be a deal break for me if he is obsessed with it, I hope not though for your sake. So, did you make plans to go out again? Anyone else catching your eye at match.com? Yeah, being independent is tough with it comes to relationships... especially if the other person isn't. My last serious relationship of 5 years we were both very independent, then lived together, and worked together, and were normally in the basement working out at same time but in different rooms so it was tough and in the end the main reason we didn't make things work. He is a nice guy but I am glad I got out, he still calls me and I try to be nice but jeez, it's been almost 3 years! Jenny, the one that set up Chad & I, told me he is very independent and like his space so that is good, although you wouldn't know it right now considering he's convinced me to go out with him every night since Thurs besides tonight and has called me more than I expected but I guess it's okay for now and if we continue to see each other I'm sure it'll get better. Ah, the joys of being single, huh?

Hello to everyone else... Michele I hope your evening got more relaxing for you and hope to see you around tomorrow evening before I head out for the night... although I'll be home early tomorrow night, unlike the last 3 nights!
