Morning over there! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/gen123.gif
I'm all ready to go do my workout today because I'VE GOT THE POWDER!
But first, I thought I would copy something here that gave me a big laugh reading.

The Unhealthiest Drink in America
Baskin Robbin’s Large Heath Bar Shake (32 oz)
2,310 calories
266 g sugar
108 g fat (64 g saturated)
Let's look at America's Worst Drink in numbers:
73: The number of ingredients that go into this milkshake.
66: The number of teaspoons of sugar this drink contains.
11: The number of Heath Bars you would have to eat to equal the number of calories found in one Baskin Robbins Large Heath Bar Shake.
8-12: The average number of minutes it takes to consume this drink.
240: The number of minutes you’d need to spend on a treadmill burning it off, running at a moderate pace.
**************************************
Is that a riot? 66 teaspoons of sugar. Think about that! Think about putting 66 teaspoons of sugar into a glass and drinking it! You could eat 10 Heath Bars and do better for yourself. OMG, LMAO! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/shocked005.gif
Changing subjects, but you know, another huge fantastic bonus of the powders, by the way, was the packaging! They came wrapped in big, clean crumpled up pieces of brown paper...that the 4 monsters TOTALLY loved! They were sprinting everywhere with their eyes all dilated and goofy, then I'd hear them gather in the other room for major ripping, tearing, and general paper noise-making, then I'd hear someone hiss and they'd all trample out into this room. LOL. It really had my laughing.
Today I'm going to try giving them some August's Special Cooked Pork & Chicken Livers a la Wet Food. Ooooh, yum. Either that or Kitty Milk Sauce a la Wet Food. I've decided to try and spruce up their wet, as you can see. We'll see how it goes. Maybe I'll get their food ready and then just rustle the bag of dry to fake them out.

>The insect bbq seems to have ended, but it made for a stressful weekend. The worst thing I thought would be grocery shopping but I was wrong.
LMAO. No, I can't imagine how an Insect BBQ could make for a pleasant weekend. Ewwwww.
70s! Great! I'm so envious! There's a typhoon here today. The kitties have settled and are now watching outside.
>Next Monday is Shipschewana for me. About 2 hours away from me, and not far from ChicagoLand area either.
Have a great time! Is that an overnight trip?
MICHELE - What's with all the sleeping? That's from the missed sleep, I hope? You're not coming down with anything are you?
How sweet of your DH to make dinner. I hope you were able to eat some leftovers.
That's nice that you were able to see your brother and do some shopping with him, too. I hope he was able to find a chair he likes. I'm loving my chairs, by the way. How on earth did I live here without chairs for over ten years? LOL.
SHANNON -
>oh boy, now you won't have to cook! You can subsist on protein shakes!!
YAYAYAYAYA!!
>You'll have to give us a review and let us know which is your fave.
And of course, I shall provide!
>Personally, I can't stand the stuff.
I love making my smoothies, but I rarely use protein powder for anything else. There were some times when I first started using it when I'd put some in yogurt and whatnot, but I thought it was fairly gross. But recently I've been reading again about how delicious it is to put in your oatmeal, and it re-sparked my curiosity.
>How are things going, dealing with humans today? It's not all that fun, is it?
Yeah, especially when you know you could easily be in your pajamas with furry family. But that's what I'm doing today, so it all equals out!
>GUESS WHAT????? I get to start my vacation tomorrow! I was supposed to start Wednesday, but I'm all caught up and my boss said Tuesday was fine. OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY. No long commute, no waking up to an alarm, just doing whatever I want for seven blessed days.
WOO HOO! SEVEN DAYS OF BLISSFUL NOTHINGNESS! ENJOY!!
Okay, I actually wrote the above before working out, and now I'm done with Arms and.....a smoothie!
I wanted to try the Cinnamon Oatmeal.....but on closer inspection, I noticed that the jug says 04-08. Could that possibly be the date it was MADE? Urgh. So I wrote to the internet store for clarification.
So instead I broke open my Designer Whey Chocolate Peanut Caramel and VOILA! The flavor that Michele said that she tasted once and threw away (well, hers wasn't caramel), I am pleased to tell you.....is probably the same flavor that I've got here, caramel or not!
Well, it's not THAT bad. I mean, I won't throw it away. But I'm not sure how much pleasure I'll get from it unless I figure out a new smoothie recipe for it. But at least I got some excitement from trying a new flavor.
I've got new protein bars, too, itching to be eaten! Which I guess means that another thing I'll have this evening is gas. LOL.

By the way, I served the 4 squirrels some Kitty Milk with their wet food to see how it would go. Mooch took a few laps and that was it. No other takers. I tried putting a little on everybody's mouths and it was a total no-go.
So for punishment tonight it's livers and heart and other gross things!
Okay, I'm off.
Have a good one! :*
