It's nearly 2pm and I need to get my butt going, so forgive me for the lack of fun emoticons this morning.

I've finished up 30 minutes of Christie's hi-lo cardio and am now digesting my oatmeal egg white banana blueberry pancake.

I have no protein powder, just to remind you. :-(

Thanks for the bday wishes to the four squirrels! We had a nice celebration and a good sleep.


MICHELE - Good for you and your working out! I was going to do all of the hi-lo but come about 25 minutes into it (and I was having a good time but...) I started to think about stopping...and so I did. Wouldn't want to test the Cardio Gods! ;) Anyway, like I was saying, congrats for keeping your workouts going! You're doing the Wave one, right?

I agree. A lot, if not all (for me) of the workout has to do with the instructor and the vibe I get. Like growling instructors is not one of my top choices LOL. Cathe and Christi. And Gin.

We eat grain-free Innova Evo wet (there's only one flavor available here, and they like that one, thankfully), and we also have 4 kinds of grain-free Wellness wet, all of which they'll ho-hum eat. I did buy a small bag of grain-free dry (Evo) which they are eating, and I'm starting to run out of their favorite Wysong which has an awful 30% grains. I don't plan to buy more of that.

I can't mix the wet and dry or else nobody will eat ANYTHING! Those fuss buggers! x( LOL.

I bought Nature's Variety Raw medallions and plan to try it out next week or so, in HOPES that they somehow MIRACULOUSLY LOOOVE it. I've heard stories of some kitties ho-hum over wet, but ga-ga over raw. Although my guys don't even like steamed chicken breast, so I'm not going to hold my breath...

How is everyone?

No workouts last night, I was too tired. This morning, I did something to my foot but I'm going to try MM anyways tonight.

Seville and Madrid are doing well. My job is OK. Nothing new to report yet on anything.

I have to make this quick because I'm on my way out the door to run those $^&*^^%$ errands I didn't get to yesterday, plus a few more. It's supposed to rain AGAIN today so I want to go now while the sun is sort of shining.

I did a core workout using a segment from Classical Stretch. That Miranda really knows how to work your core, let me tell ya http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/sick013.gif

It was a combo of standing abs and floor work with only a few traditional exercises, but even her bicycle is really different -- very slow and controlled. I have serious ab DOMS this morning (and y'all know how I HATE DOMS :p ).

I better skedaddle so I can stay ahead of the rain.

Guess what I did!!?!!!!? Are you sitting down...because you better sit down...I wouldn't want you to pass out and hurt yourself.

I did my workout, and it's just barely the afternoon! But before we get too excited, I just did the strength part. I still have to do the cardio. It's a 30 minute walk and I'm waiting until tonight when DH is home (his doctor told him to walk for 30 minutes several times a week. I LOVE his doctor ;) ).

YIPEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

Now I need to finish those errands.

Aug - Happy belated B-Day to the squirrels. Your pancake sounds good minus the egg whites - is that doable????? I'll admit that I've also quit workouts right in the middle. I think to myself, well this sucks

My workouts have been mostly walking due to lack of time.
Mon: Push/Pull
Tues: 5 mile walk
Wed: 2 mile walk
Thurs: 2 mile walk (I'm hoping to get in weights of some kind tonight).

I want to get a new grill so I'm hoping I can talk my DH to go to Wal-Mart or Lowes or Home Depot to get one after dinner. The weather has been so nice & I miss cooking on the grill. Our old one is dead. You can cook on it if you like your stuff burnt to a crisp!!!
