And would you FREAKIN believe it. I'm not kidding - it's been lovely, gorgeous, beautiful weather when I've gazed out my window during breakfast all these days.

No, no donut yesterday. Unfortunately/fortunately Starbucks' donuts aren't normal, so I never get them. I do however get their doughy cinnamon rolls. And cookies, though I usually eat those for dessert after DINNER. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/tooth.gif

Hello Haters.

My two day vacation officially starts in about one hour. Yes, I winked back at this guy. I believe I've met him before in person somewhere.

It was National Donut day last week. Apparently, Sweetwater in Kalamazoo has one of the best in the country. And, I'm sure they take email orders anywhere.


Today, I was finally able to get out after the storm but another one is expected to come in shortly. Thanks again for the prayers everyone.

Jennifer - glad that you checked in. We were all worried about you. Have a great 2 days off!!! Your walk sounds awesome!!!!!

Michele - I played Collapse 3 and Atlantis Quest on GameHouse.

Shannon - I only wish that Saturday was my cheat day. Unfortunately, it was a cheat filled weekend.

I took my boys swimming yesterday and I didn't get my back very good w/the sunblock so I'm really burnt.

It is horridly humid here today. I better get working but I'll be back later since I'm no going out for a walk at lunch.

Hello Haters.

Yes, my walk was awesome and plan to repeat it on Tues.. the lake has alot of calming qualities so I like to be there when I can. I normally go to South Haven, but Grand Haven has the longer river walk to Lake MI..

And, I'm enjoying my first of two days off right now!!!

It's SO FREAKING HOT!!!! It's been up in the 90's for days now and I feel like CRAP! I mean it, I'm wiped out. I don't have an ounce of energy. The good thing is, I don't have any appetite either. I haven't finished a meal in days. I feel so tired -- I couldn't keep my eyes open yesterday, and I took a short nap today. I'm seriously thinking about just having a milkshake for dinner tonight. Food doesn't sound good to me at all.

AUGIE -- are you naked by now? LMAO!!! You need to make it a POINT to get outside and enjoy the nice weather, even if it's only for a few minutes.

JENIFFER -- I was so excited about your wink!! It sure came at a good time for you, didn't it? It does my heart good to have you back here and feeling a bit better. :*

DANA -- I never heard of those games. Oh wait! I think I heard of collapse, but definitely not that other one. I haven't played any computer games in ages. I wish I had a place for my desktop computer downstairs. It's so HOT upstairs in my study. Geez, I can hardly breathe up here! I need to get a laptop that I can keep downstairs.

I cannot believe you let yourself get sunburned! I avoid the sun like the plague. I SLATHER myself in #30 sunblock

Michele you nut, I didn't let myself get sunburned. My arms aren't long enough to get sunblock on my entire back so I"m burned. And I didn't see any hotties at the pool that I could've asked to help an old lady out. LOL Both my boys backs are burnt too. I did use SPF30 but I think I should just ditch it and get some 50. I guess it can go bad???? It is from last year but I didn't see an expiration date on the tube.

Robin - not sure if yo're home yet but you should take your grandson to the pool at Knoebels, he'd love it. They have the cutest little kiddie area - Gannon loves it!

I didn't get in a workout today - it was way too hot to walk at lunch and I was going to use my elliptical tonight but DH isn't home to watch the boys. He had a job estimate to do and since the homeowner is a farmer - he was told not to come til after 8:00pm b/c he was planting beans. LOL I think the weather is supposed to cool down towards the end of the week. I don't mind the heat at all but this humidity has gotta go!!!
