Well, it's raining...but I don't have to go outside today! http://www.pic4ever.com/images/47b20s0.gif

In lieu of having to go outside however, the rain has brought some kind of pollen or something that is making my eyes itch and nose run like mad. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/2mo5pow.gif

Nevertheless, I felt inspired to do Ripped this morning, sans the squats. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/4fvfcja.gif

And I made a really fantastic smoothie -- I don't know, it was something about the balance of it made it really, really yummy. Frozen blueberry, frozen applesauce, unsweetened cocoa, vanilla whey and some soymilk. Yum in the tum! http://www.pic4ever.com/images/clap.gif

JENNIFER - Hiya! Glad to hear you had a good and productive couple days off! Yay, that will save you a bunch of running around later on, eh? And the gift certificate at Toys R Us sounds fantastic! Fun!

>They are more than concerned that I'm looking for greener pastures in another field.

I'll bet they are! They better be treating you EXTRA nice!!

>Hoping to have a great day at work today and you do to!!

I'm with you! After I write this up, I'm going into my work room with a positive attitude and a smile on my face and I'm going to do some killer work today!

MICHELE - Oh, I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. You must be sensitive to the temperature. It seems like you weren't feeling so great last year when it started getting hot.

> http://www.pic4ever.com/images/loudlaff.gif (I have NO IDEA what this guy is doing but he just makes me lol!)

LMAO!

>Can you put an elliptical at your brother's house!? Or work, work would be good

My brother moved to a different area that is sort of inconvenient to where Mom and I are, so his house wouldn't work. Yeah. Work. Work would be good. But my apartment would be even better.

http://bestsmileys.com/thinking/5.gif

>Is...is your mom moving again?

No, no, I mean the house in Oregon. How the heck does one take care of decades of stuff in a house that is overseas? I think I'll try to post in the OD Monday or so and see if anybody has any ideas.

My brother and I sort of touched on it the other day, and we both nearly had panic attacks before deliberately changing the subject LOL.

SHANNON -

>Now if this work day will just hurry up and end so I can go home and jump on the elliptical.

http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/angry051.gif

>ooohhh, you're so close to buying an elliptical! Go, Augie, go!!!

I see now that this should have been my answer to the "What do you want?" question. I would love an elliptical. I want to get all of the CC and do my cardio on an elliptical. That's what I want. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/34efamg.gif

DANA - Oh man, if the power had to go out, it could have at least happened when you finished cleaning up, eh? That would drive me nuts having stuff in the sink like that. Eegads, no water, either? Is the power on now? Why did it go out?

Okay! Here I go! Here I go! Rah! Rah!

Good Morning Haters.

Just getting ready for another round of storms for this weekend starting today.

I woke up this morning and I believe it was Seville that had gotten sick in my kitchen. He was acting odd earlier last evening and then the boys did their nascar run, and his tummy got upset. He ate this morning and appears to be doing better.

Lately, my main form of exercising has been walking. On Sat, Jul 5th, my friend and I are kayaking the lower basin of the Ausable river near Oscoda. Yippee, we get to leave my house at 5AM that day.
9 more days till I leave for Albany to see Morgan.

Have a Great Day!!

Morning haters.

Jennifer - that sounds like great fun - the kayaking. I've never kayaked (is that spelled correctly?), but I've always wanted to try it.

August - oh man, that is quite a situation about the stuff in Oregon. Are there things in the home that you want to keep? I know around where I live, there are quite a bit of home auctions. Everything in the home, including the home, is auctioned off. Of course you pay a fee, but you'd get some a the money. The only thing that I don't know about is if you have to clean/box up the contents. I'm sure that there are businesses that do that sort of thing. Perhaps you could contact an attorney in Oregon to assist you?

Michele - you've made quite the revelation haven't you? LOL. I don't use a HRM and I've never had the "high" that you're talking about.

Hi Shannon, Robin & Jen!!!!

I had a heck of a morning before even coming to work. DH decided he was going to do laundry at 6:30 this a.m. and I leave the house at 7:00. I NEVER put stuff in the dryer if I'm not at home and he took down the clothes line when he enclosed our back porch. Not to mention, I'm on a schedule every morning and I get rathy grouchy (to put it nicely) when my schedule is interrupted. So he finds some rope and puts up a clothes line, I open the washer and gues what??? Somehow Gabe's report card fell in there and it was in a manila envelope which kinda melted (or whatever it does when it is in water) and it is all over the clothes. I had Gabe's papers from school on top of the washing machine until I had time to sort through them and when DH opened the top of the washing machine, it must've fell in. Don't ask me how he didn't see that BIG envelope in there. So now, I'm probably gonna have to rewash all those clothes. I'm sure you want to know why he wanted to do wash at 6:30 in the morning? Why b/c he got a new t-shirt!!!!! He wasn't even going to wear it today either. ((insert a BIG scream here), so that puts me behind my schedule, then as I'm ready to leave, Gannon poops his pants so I had to change him. Now I"m at work, it is extrememly hot in here and I have to deal with paperwork from teachers who obviously rushed through getting it done b/c most of it is wrong!!!! They have the wrong dates on it, things are missing, etc. These are teachers!!! I'm sure if their students turned in assignments of the same quality, they'd be giving F's!!!! Oh the joy of my job!!!!

Well, I'm off to sort though this mass of reports. Have a great day all!!!

August - my goodness, your smoothie almost makes me want to make one! I never make smoothies, but that sounds delicious! I hope that pollen or whatever goes away and that you feel better. Nasty stuff, isn't it? So, have you started shopping for that elliptical?

Dana - good grief, what a morning! You need to ban DH from doing the laundry. It doesn't sound like it's worth the effort! I sure hope your day hurries up and gets better.

Good morning!

Phew! It's been totally crazy around here! I just found out that my sister had a little outpatient surgery yesterday and she never even told me about it until after it was over! ;( x(

And then, we got a call last night about DH's sister. She has a huge blood clot in her leg and had to be hospitalized! ;(

I mean GEEZ!!!!!

Anyway, we didn't get much sleep last night and I'm feeling fried this morning. And my sinuses are totally clogged and giving me a headache ;( x( ;( x(

My sister is supposed to have a followup appt with her surgeon tomorrow and the person who was going to take her can't do it now. If she can't find someone else to take her I may have to drive up there myself and do it. Please pray that she finds someone. I'm happy to take her if needed, but it's a heck of a drive and I wouldn't be too upset if someone else did the chauffeuring.

Oh hey, I need to do a few things but I'll BBL for personals.

I love all a youse :* :* :* :* :* :*

Oh no, my SIL is having surgery this morning to remove the blood clot. I guess it's so huge they won't be able to dissolve it with meds.

My sis hasn't found a ride yet ;(

I almost forgot that my darlin' DH is having a stress test tomorrow and I want to go with him! ;(

Oh dear ;(

Oh no Michele, sending prayers your way. I hope everything is ok with all three of your loved ones. ((HUGS))

I bought some morningstar farm burgers just for the heck of it - I got the south of the border ones and OMG they are delish!!! Just had one with some green beans for lunch.

I found "the coolest" thing ever. I went on to the Giant website (local grocery store chain in my area) and you can register w/your bonus card and can create your own printable shopping list. You can look at the weekly flyer and click on whatever and it will add it to your list. There is even a section called "my buys" and it has all your recent purchases and you can add them to your list. How cool is that??? So I'm off to create my grocery list.

Awww, Cuz! Man, things just keep happening to you and your family! I feel so bad - I wish I could give you a real hug! I think you definitely need to go with DH to his stress test. Is there ANYone else who can help your sis? Does she have a good neighbor who might be able to?

Dana - LOL - all the things a person can do online are just amazing, aren't they? So, how was it? Fun? My lists are always scribbled on a little scrap of whatever paper I can find around the house.

Dana, whew! Did you clobber your DH? Will you clobber your teachers? Sounds like you need to clobber someone. Those burgers sound good. I usually just get plain veggie burgers. I'll have to try the Giant website.

{{{Michele}}} Honey, you need to get a job to give you a good excuse not to be everyone's caregiver! I'm putting your sis and your SIL on the prayer list. Your DH is already on.

Jennifer, your kayaking trip sounds exciting. Are there rapids? Are they rated?

August, yay for the yummy smoothie, boo to the rain, yay to staying inside, boo to the pollen.

I've been a little piggy today. There are birthday treats for a coworker. Cake, praline bars, apple bars. I've been doing lots of cardio since I got back from vacation, so I think today I'll have to do some weights. Maybe PUB.
