Good morning! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/greet016.gif
Sooooooo, yesterday before going to work, I decided to eat an orange, and it wasn't very good..........really, it just wasn't very good. Honestly. So I thought, "Hmm. Welp, out onto my balcony it goes!"
Gives me a new appreciation for buying bad fruit. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/laughing002.gif
Anyway, I don't know when it happened, but when I woke up this morning and opened the curtains, the orange pieces were mangled. So it seems the two medium big birds that visit my balcony are partial to citrus. LOL.
Nobody has yet to eat my seed.
I did Gliding with Mindy Mylrea and glided right into Chami. It surprised the heck out of me and really displeased her. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/mad/mad0078.gif From that point on, she'd look at the discs vengefully. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/mad/mad0003.gif

>Once they know Mooch and Cham are inside, they will tease the heck out of them.
Oh, I hope they figure it out soon. Cham and Mooch keep sitting near the balcony window hoping some action will appear.
So did your slanted risers arrive?

>Now you need to get a bird guide and some binoculars so you can put a name to the birds.
LOL. If they'd just come and sit still on my balcony! As soon as I can actually see them, I'll give you a report.
>I made some suet/peanutbutter food yesterday and put some out on a cookie tray today. The birds keep hopping around it and looking, while pretending it isn't there. Only one bold Blue Jay took a piece so far.
Sounds yummy. I'd take one LOL.

>Oh yeah, the full body slam -- it's one of Johnny's favorite moves -- LMAO!!
Yeah, it looked like Chami was doing her street performance of "Mime on Speed at Balcony Window." LOL.
I'm so glad you got in a stretch and had a great sleep, and most of all that you had such a lovely evening with your DH.
I can't imagine your niece would expect you to come visit her every day. I mean, that's a TON. I wouldn't expect my own mom to come visit me ever day. Plus, she's got friends and other people visiting her - she could probably use the time to herself! LOL.
DANA -
>what the heck is that thing and why is it flying. And why is my mommy feeding it??????
Totally LOL. More like, "why the heck is mom going out on the balcony? She NEVER does that."
Wow, baseball and soccer. Can you imagine what great exercise that would be? Man, I bet dinner tastes good after doing all that LOL.
Urgh about the woodstove. That would freak me out like, is the house going to burn down? That's nice that your FIL came to try to fix it. Has the smell gone away (I guess it's likely your nose got used to it by now LOL).
All right, I'm off to work again today. I hope my fresh produce doesn't lure any cockroaches.
Oooh, ooh, I may have found a crock-pot here, thanks to encouragement from Jen. I'm going to do some more research! http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/happy/happy0014.gif
