Morning!

I've got all the squirrels today. Actually, I've had them since last night (slumber party at August's). They woke up this morning around 7am running at top speed back and forth between my two rooms LOL.

Today shall be Gym Style Legs floor only. I'd really love to try to get the Breakthrough Pilates workout un-bolded from my rotation schedule, because every time I see it I start singing the song "Breakout" which I quite dislike and it drives me nuts for the next few hours.

Oh man, I tried to get back here today but it just wasn't going to happen. I spent most of the day on the phone updating everyone on my niece's progress. She had another appointment today with a neurologist and guess what!? They just discovered that she has a "minor" fracture of her back. I have no clue what that means, but obviously it must not be too bad because they're not treating it.

AUGUST - I have an idea http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/think004.gif . Instead of a potted evergreen, how about a birdbath!!? Do you have an electrical outlet on your balcony? If you do, you can get one that has a doodad to keep the water from freezing in the winter. Birdies really need water, especially in the winter. My MIL has an electric birdbath and it's always full of birds. Look here -- you can even get one that is solar powered:

Good Morning Haters.

It's about 5am here EST.. When I came home from my work party last night, there was a cab going slow down the street. Then, when I pulled up my drive, they were parked in front of my house for a few minutes, so I stayed in my car. After they left, I got out and spoke to my neighbour's father about his daughter's new car, Saturn Vue in Dark Blue, went inside. The cab came back around again and then went down the street and stopped in front of some other single woman's house. There are lots of single women on my street. I found this behaviour of the cab rather odd. I'm usually home on Friday nights. Tonight, I will be home with my doors double bolted locked and my car locked up with the lights on. And, be alert to what is happening outside.

Other than the heartburn from last night, I plan to do HSC today. That might change. Also, I have a phone interview next week.

Cold today and rain tomorrow to mess things up more here.

BBL, back to bed too.
 
August, I've been out of the closet for years. I love birds and only wish I had more time to spend watching them. Maybe it's the wrong time of year for you to attrack birds? we only feed in the winter, since there is abundant food for them in the summer. I really can't believe you haven't even gotten a pigeon yet!

Michele, more hugs to you and your niece. We miss you soooo much. I just finished a book called Of a Feather. It's a history of bird watching in America. Before that, I read a great book called Cataloochee. It's set in the Smokie Mountains of North Carolina. If you ever read Fair and Tender Ladies (one of my favorites), you'd like this one. Now I'm reading Silence of the Songbirds, a sad book about the potential disaster of decreasing songbird populations. Hmmm, I sense a theme here.

Jennifer, hopefully someone called a cab and the driver couldn't find the address. Stay safe, young lady!

JENNIFER - How creepy about the strange cab. That kind of thing always kind of freaks me out, too, even though probably that cab driver was probably thinking, "Oh man, which house am I supposed to go to? Sheesh, please people, make your address plates bigger!"

Yes, I called the cab company and he confirmed that there are lots of new drivers out there. I suggested they use mapquest before they leave. He also pointed out that it would be quite "dumb" for someone to break into a home with his cab's name printed all over it. The way things have been lately, it never hurts to confirm.
I think the cab company did get a few calls from the cab's behaviour last night. I did thank the cab guy for his logic.

This morning, the birds are back eating up the scrap bird feed on the ground.

Time to try and workout.

HIYA Haters! Sorry I've been MIA...

Today's workout was Drill Max- I am going to try to fit something else in this afternoon also, not sure what though...maybe B&G or B&G floor work/abs & BM2 upper body. We'll see how I'm feeling this afternoon...

Went to bed VERY EARLY last night, had another headache but feeling great this morning & did most of my cleaning last night & this morning already so I can hopefully get some down time this evening & tomorrow. Doing the APL from 11-2, then lunch w/ Mom & Tara, then home to do another w/o, then shower & relax... ah!! :)

August- Do you only have the squirrels for today or all weekend?? I will be saying the same thing tonight hopefully...isn't it great to be home on a Sat night doing nothing?!?! Chad has the boys this weekend & his Mom is coming up today to spend today & tomorrow w/ them. So, I should be able to enjoy some much needed alone time, I hope!

Michele- Sorry you couldn't sleep. Also very sorry about your DN but as you said if they aren't doing anything about it then it must not be that bad. Hugs & prayers are still coming your way. SO...WHAT WORKOUT YOU DOING TODAY??????????????????? :) }( :) :*

Jennifer- So, have you done HSC yet? I think I'm going to fit HST into my routine this week. I LOVE that workout but have to be careful how much I do it w/ all the leg presses-my thighs are too muscular for me right now as they are. :-( Be safe tonight- better to be safe than sorry, right???

Robin- Your day sounds very exciting & fun...enjoy!!! :) How is your knee doing?
