Ant #1 http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animals/animal0033.gif : Dum-dee dum-dee dum-dee duh....Stan. OMG. Do you see what I see?
Stan http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animals/animal0033.gif : Geez. It, it looks like an apple?
Ant #1 http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animals/animal0033.gif : Stan, you flea brain, it IS an apple. Four huge pieces of untouched apples to be precise!
Stan http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animals/animal0033.gif : Let's get out of here! It must be a bird trap!
Ant #1 http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animals/animal0033.gif : There ain't no birds in sight. Let's have some.
Stan http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/animals/animal0033.gif : Okay.
Good morning, all! http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/love005.gif
I just finished up CTX Upper Body Premix and a frozen banana strawberry cocoa bran smoothie and am getting ready to go do some work. I felt weirdly good about my workout today and even had to up some weights. I felt macho and worldly.
Or maybe it's just leftover sugar from See's chocolates from yesterday. It's a hard call.

DANA - That's great that you can do that with your work to be there for your children. What a great situation. And like Michele wrote, you're an important part of their staff and I can't imagine their even thinking to lose that.
I don't have any personal experience with alcoholism, but it sounds frightening and worrisome. My father had heart trouble, and that was horrible enough.
>I just had to tell you all this. My DH sent me flowers for Valentine's Day. We have been together 8.5 years and he has NEVER sent me flowers so I was shocked!!!!!
Oh, how sweet! How really sweet, Dana! What a nice Valentine's Day!
ROBIN -
>August, I would ask my birds to speak to your birds, but their mouths are full of seeds.
http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/angry051.gif Noooot funny! NOOOOT FUNNY!
Good for you for listening to your knee and taking it easy and just doing what the doctor advised. I hope the wiggles are gone today.
SHANNON - I imagine my responding to you may make you feel a bit, "Oh gosh, I shouldn't have posted here because now I'm getting replies that I have to then reply to, urgh."
This can be simply remedied with cookies, or chocolates. I'm not choosy. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/angelic006.gif
MICHELE -
>I'm happy to report that I DID NOT eat ALL of the treats I brought home yesterday, however, I did eat half of them. I had the individual pineapple upside down cake after lunch, and then between the afternoon and bedtime I finished off one box of the caramels
LMAO. "Individual pineapple upside down cake." LMAO!
Oh man, it must feel so much better for your niece to have clean hair. That would make a world of difference in comfort for sure.
>DH's cousin was hit while riding a bike a few years ago and he's now permanently handicapped. He was an ER doctor and he had to quit work.
Oh, Michele, how awful.
>Put a potted tree on your balcony.
Me? A potted tree? What would DP say? And do you not remember my lack of a green thumb? It's near a miracle that DP is allowing himself to live at my place.
Is these such thing as a potted tree that survives without human contact?
Actually, my work partner was telling me that he has old planters on his balcony full of sand (they used to be full of plants LOL). Birds come every day to play in the sand. He said the first time he saw it, he thought something was wrong with the bird...but then he came back with friends, and they'd plop down in the sand and splash around in it.
I guess I'll see how it goes for another week or so and then maybe I'll look into a plant.
I wonder if I'm allowed to have a plant on my balcony...
>I'm sure the cats aren't keeping the birds away -- the birds probably can't even see them through the glass
I hope you're right. Poor Cham and Mooch keep going to the balcony to look at the plate of bird seed LOL.
DIANE - Wow, Ella is getting big already! And she's very pretty! That's a cute V-day outfit.
JEN - Thanks for the email! I hope you're feeling better and get some great rest this weekend!!
JENNIFER -
>My Valentines Gift today was from my neighbour, who shoveled our ramp and got me unstuck today.
LOL. Well, that's pretty dang nice!
>How does Mooch and Cham handle the excitement?
Their new thing is to make a muck out of my clothing closet. They insist that I clear off a shelf up top so they can lurk around behind clothing and slowly either knock them off or chew them up LOL. But it's so cute, so I always just let them.
All right, I'm off to my work room.
Have a great day and chat with you laters! I've been sleeping really well lately and finally am starting to feel like my normal self, which is a relief. Being sleepy all the time (with my weekly weekend trips out of town) sure takes a toll.
Or maybe it's the sugar talking again LOL.
Later!
ETA : The dork in me brought me back......I chose to name the ant Stan, but didn't know why....after some thought, I just now realized that Stan is an anagram for Ants! The brain is fascinating, isn't it? http://bestsmileys.com/geek/1.gif
