Morning sleepy heads.

I wound up with a rest day yesterday, fell asleep on the couch after work. I guess that isn't so bad since it was a rest day after I finished my rotation (trying to make myself feel better LOL!)
So I got up and did 6 w/up, 6 intervals, and stretch of IMAX. I really wanted to finish, but I ran out of time, gotta go to work. I really liked it, and hope to complete it soon..

I hope you all have a wonderful day. I am not sure what kind of rotation I will do now. Maybe just take a week and do whatever and then decide.

Morning Ladies -

I slept in until 4:30 again. I have a horrible migraine and I think I'm going to start. This ought to be fun since I totally skipped last month. TMI!!!!

This morning I did YBB Latin Dance workout. I repeated the cardio segment and this made it a total of 60 minutes with w/u, c/d and stretch. I then did Rainbeau Mars Power Yoga for Beginners (30 min). Nothing too strenuous today. I made it a lighter day.

I'm hoping my Amy Staehle's will be here when the mail comes and I can do the kickboxing one for tomorrow. In case you're interested http://www.fitnessorganica.com/articles/TraceyStaehle.html just sent me a newsletter and they are selling the Amy's in case you want to check them out.

Well - I think this might possibly be the first vacation I didn't gain weight on. I did a couple things differently and I guess it paid off. Plus I made the DH take one really long walk with me (had to hoof it to Walgreen's for something) on one day plus the usual walking. I refrained from eating my usual daily candy for 5 days, except for a little Ghiardelli's chocolate and some freshly baked Chocolate Pecan cookies for dessert from the Venetian one day.

Diana Sue - I bought those Saucony Crosstrainers. I should have them next week. I'll let you know how they are. I'm sure they will be fine, as I love my other Saucony's.

Have great workouts and I'll be back later. Off to eat my oatmeal and soak in the tub. We'll go to the movies later and I've got E-bay business to take care of.

Lora, glad to see you back and hopefully destressed and rested.Do you know a good yoga about 30 min that is more flexibility?

Last night i did my 40 min intervals on the treadmill. The performance program 1. Tried 3 and had to modify. By the time i was done my legs were like jelly, so i skipped legs. I will do them tonite before i get on the treadmill...The program whips me. It goes from elevated walks to sprints, and the 4mph and 10 elevation on to the 7 mph run gets me good. I did the whole program w no modify. I just knock the incline down 10 sec early before the runs. I had my HR up to 158 and blew 410 calories which is good as far as i am concerned.

Deb, are you recoup from the DOMS?

Did anyone notice alot of people took away their pic trail?
A shame. The pics motivate me....I love seeing everyones families.

Good morning, Ladies -

Today is my extended aqua day, with kick-butt aqua jogging (to the tunes in my beloved new waterproof MP3 player), an extended shallow-water and deep-water session with two friends, then some added flutter kick drills. Have an extended series of add-on drills planned for the shallow water segment. Lookin' forward to it.

Also lookin' forward to those new DVDs, which are getting cwoser and cwoser as Elmer Fudd would say!

Good Morning,
Today I will be doing cardio and abs. I will probably do an I Max and then some treadmill. I will let you know later what I did.

Anne, I like doing treadmill intervals. There are so many programs on my treadmill and I have purchased a 3 of the iFIT programs along with my Cardio Coach. Sometimes the treadmill just keeps going and I think I am so ready to lower the speed, but I seem to always make it:) Yes, I really like the pictures too. It helps with motivation when talking to others about their routines & progress. I look at other fitness sites as well as Cathes, like beach body and body building sites where progress pics are posted and it is great motivation.

Lora, it sounds like maybe you are getting some much needed rest. Congrats on making it home without the weight gain.

Annette, the extended aqua day sounds fun. Enjoy your tunes with your mp3 player.

This morning I did IMAX 3. I hate this workout. Damn, was it hard for me today. I'm embarrassed to say that I had to stop between each interval to catch my breath. With interval #7 (jumping jacks off the step) my hr got to 174. I've NEVER seen that. I don't know what was wrong with me this morning, but I just couldn't do this workout. My head was draining big time, too, I had to stop and blow my nose constantly. By the time I got to blast #8, I did half of it and then got a horrible stitch in my side so I skipped to the step part of #9, skipped the blast and then did all of #10. I'm done. I would think with all the stuff I'm doing on my treadmill that these workouts would be easier. Not so.

I was in my zone for 39 minutes and burned 400 calories!!! Last time I did this workout was in June, I was in my zone for 40 minutes and burned 345 calories. Weird.

People are taking away their avi's? Why?

I just got the mail and my Tracey Staehle's didn't come. I'll probably get them on Monday. Oh well.

Anne - Yes, I actually have a favorite 30 min restorative yoga practice that you can get at Amazon or CD Universe for pretty cheap ($10?). It's called Pure Tranquility by Rainbeau Mars. It's my favorite relaxing yoga. I was going to do it today, but I do it so often, that I chose something a bit different. Another one that's really good is called "Yoga in the Garden of Serenity" and it sells on FitnessOrganica for $20 and is 60 minutes but can be done in shorter segments. It has a really good neck/shoulder section (thus the reason I purchased it).

Where the heck is everyone today? Must be busy working out.

I can't wait for the new Cathe's to come out.
 
This Morning I did I Max 3, stopped at the str and did 1.25 miles on the treadmill and then the stretch. I needed to get to the bank so did a short ab workout. 2 sets each 50# barbell rollouts on toes 15 reps, 10# hanging knee raise 1 reps, 160# Bowflex kneeling crunches 50 reps, 25 wood chops on the ball 25 reps.

Debbie, were you referring to Cathe's new dvd's on the music? I missed that somewhere.

Diane Sue - Yes, the new series. What is the name of the new series anyways? I don't think she gave them a "series". Check out her blog, she lists some of the songs that will be in the workouts.

Great workout, we both did IMAX 3 today. I'm sure you flew through it, though. I was dying this morning!

Guess everyone had a busy Saturday, not playing on the computer as much LOL!

I added a few pics and changed my avatar (family album). They aren't "fitness" pics (yes, I need to update them). Just pics of me and my DH before we went out to dinner with my family tonight. ANd of course some of my boys clowning around.
I ate ALOT tonight! I made the mistake of not eating enough during the day, really busy at work, so I felt weird after, but I ate alot at dinner, including a delicious chocolate dream dessert!!! I was surprised I didn't find it to sweet, since I have cut most of that out of my diet, but everything in moderation!
I will hopefully be able to fit in a marathon WO tomorrow! LOL!!
