I got my workout in. I did Amy Bento's new step challenge 3 combos 1 and 2 then repeated them and did the combined 1&2, then I did 4DSplit Low Intensity Step cardio, I followed with both of the ab segments from Amy's and the stretch. These were good. Abs 1 Amy was using a 15# kettlebell and abs 2 she used tubing. The stretch was a nice long one using the bench and a towel. I will have to come back to read later. Got to feed the baby and head out to get the children. Got to take the bandage off my face today. The stitches are kind of ugly and my face is swollen a little. No bruising though so not to bad

Meals for today

Medium calorie day

M1: ON whey protein shake w/3 strawberries & 2 oz. bananas (post workout)
M2: Chocolate Fudge BSN w/ 1/2 c. oats, 1 tbsp. Naturally More PB, 1 tbsp. flaxseed
M3: 4 oz. Turkey on 1 slice Ezekiel bread; 2 tbsp. raw almonds; peach
M4: 1 cup Greek yogurt w/ 1/2 c. pineapples
M5: 6 oz. Chicken grilled breast; sauteed veggies w/2 tsp. parm cheese; 5 oz. sweet potato
M6: Chocolate Pro Pudding w/ 2 tbsp. oats & 1/2 c. LF cottage cheese

2007 calories (goal was 2000)
42 g. fat - 19%
228 g. protein - 45%
180 g. carbs - 36%

My macros are coming out good. It's amazing how easy it is to do this stuff when your carbs and calories are high. And I'm still hungry so I am glad I've upped the calories a bit. I was so hungry yesterday with each meal, I couldn't believe it.

Diane Sue - Nice workout!

Linda- I usually run outside 4x a week but since Nick (older son) is on a break for the summer, there's no way in h*ll I'm going to push both boys in a stroller. Nick is pretty tall and big boned for his age and Tenny is tall but a string bean so it'll be brutal. (I know you're thinking "oh, stop crying, Lisa" ) Trust me, I get incredibly bored running on the treadmill going nowhere 2-3x a week. That's why I do intervals. LOL Can;t stand doing steady run on a treadmill. I always lose my balance and get my foot stuck on the moving part of the treadmill. I walk like I have cockeyes. No joke. Got that from my mother. Next week Nick starts school on Wed. so thursday morning, I'm going to throw Tenny into the running stroller and run outside instead of on a treadmill at the gym. Oftentimes I look at people who run on the treadmill for an hour or two STRAIGHT like what the freak is wrong with you, aren't you bored??? Maybe they have boring personalities? (I don't do it to their faces though LOL) We should invite them over to the Hardcore forum and bust it out of them. LOL By the way, did you take the job at the gym? I haven't seen any thing new from you about that. Well, missy?

It's normal to an extent. If it's obsessive it could be caused by a number of other things. If your dog is a paranoid type, it is probably a nervous habit. A dog can pick up a habit, just as we humans do, such as biting our nails etc. My thoughts are: if she's (obsessively) licking, it's either a nervous habit or boredom type thing and if she's scratching, it could be caused by an allergy, skin problem, fleas, etc. Best have a vet check it out. Good luck in figuring it out as it can be most irritating, as I'm sure you already know.

OMG ya'll are so chatty there is no way I can keep up. lol.

Stuck with my meal plan as posted today..doing good.

Just finished my workout. Let me tell ya...the numbers are LOW in weight, but I did my absolute best and feeling every friggin bit of it so I cannot wait til tomorrow. My triceps especially are toast right now.

Debbie, I want you to know I stuck with exactly 1:30 mins rest between every set. hehe

1:30 minute rest between every set and exercise. 3 minutes rest between going from chest to triceps.

CHEST
Incline Barbell Press:
65# - 6/6/6
60# - 10
55# - 12/10
***This is hard for me, I am not gonna lie. I think God made my body alittle different then the rest of ya'lls..ain't much in my chest to work with.***

Barbell Bench Press:
75# - Oh Hell..had to drop to 70# instead and finished 6/6/6
65# - 8
60# - 9
55# - 10
***Not trying to do a counting (lol) just how it turned out***

Decline Dumbbell Flyes:
25's - 12
20's - 12/12/12 (easy as pie, but when you do all 12 and 3x's, it becomes "heated") lol.
***O.k. these are better for me..I actually like doing flyes and I am really inbetween going from 25's to 30's for a total of 12 reps so I stuck with 25's instead to make sure I could make it to 12 cuz I think with 30's I will burn out at 8 or 10. ***

TRICEPS
Bench Dips:
70# - 6/6 with plates in my lap for all
60# - 10
50# - 12/10
***One of the plates fell off on the 50# before the last 2 reps were done. lol***

Close Grip Press:
70# - 4 and then dropped to 65# and finished 6/6
60# - 5/6/6 (best I could do..honest to God...was getting fried at this point)

Lying Barbell Extensions:
30# - 6/6
25# -10
20# - 12/12 (Don't laugh..I still felt it) lol.
***This workout scared me a bit cuz it is probably one I should not do with my neck still healing, but I kept it low***

Tonight I ended up not having the energy for my originally planned workout, and my booty is sore anyway, so I did the first ab segment from Amy's new dvd, ASCIII, then I did Ravi and Ana's Ultimate Stretch. I ate dinner out with some friends this evening, hence getting home later and not getting my workout done at a reasonable time.
