Good Morning Girls.
Today's work out plan is Jackie's One on One Training: Lower Body (yes another new one!) and Jillian's Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism for cardio.
My interview is at 11am this morning. Wish me luck! *fingers and toes crossed!*
Good news: The weather turned nice y'day afternoon so we got to go outside for sun/pool time.
Bad new: My car broke down last night. I am so glad we have an extra car so that Joey can still get to school and I can get to the interview. We were supposed to go get food and go to the park with Joey for dinner. Well, Joey started complaining of a bellyache so we nixxed the park idea. DH was going to pick up the food and bring it back to be eaten outside in our yard. 10 mins after he left the phone rang that he was broken down a couple miles from the house! Now my car is in a parking lot waiting to be towed. FUN!
Lori: I hear ya on the whining girl. Last summer's indulging (but in my case there was a lot of FOOD indulgences too) is what caused the weight gain I've been struggling with ever since! I have to say though, it's going down painfully slowly but it IS going down. At my highest since last summer I was 5 pounds heavier then I am right now so I guess I can't complain. I am only 2-3 pounds from my goal now and do not throw up when I look in the mirror these days. That being said, I need to be careful this summer. I intend to continue to log my food in spark people though and I am sure that will help. I wasn't logging anything last summer.
Jacque: I agree with moderation though I have to watch how often I do it! The bowflex select techs that I bought go up to 52.5 pounds a piece. They also sell a set that goes up to 90 pounds! There are many many different sets of adjustable DB's out there that are not as pricey as the select techs but are also not as well made. Not so to say that another brand would not have been fine but BF is a well known name with a good rep and after getting 2 personal recs for them from fellow Catheites, I decided to splurge a bit and get the best. Yeah, I agree...if possible you should get up on weekend mornings and dive right into your work out so that it's DONE and then you'll have the rest of the day for housework. I don't do it that way as I usually prefer to wait for DH to get up before starting so that DS isn't "alone" while I work out if I can help it.
Jen: So what was the calorie burn for mowing your lawn and how long did it take?? So seriously, is there a Melting Pot up in CT???
BBL!
