Good Morning Ladies

Weekend didn't go so well, not looking forward to going into work today. Isn't it supposed to be quite the opposite? lol. And sorry, don't mean to be a negative nancy, but was either this or not check in at all, and I said I wasn't doing that anymore, up and disappearing everytime life seems to be heading downhill....:confused:

I will do D2 (Back and Triceps) today, maybe a good stretch if I have time.

Belinda- Have a great workout today! Glad you had a good weekend. Did that snow ever fall?

Lori- Woo hoo!!! Congrats on your race!!!!

Melissa- So you're gonna be Jem,?? That's totally awesome! And yeah I understand about not wanting to be working like that while in school. You must be counting down the seconds...lol

Kristin- Hope PLB was fun yesterday! Do you pause as much as I do in that one? lol The weather was beautiful here as well, yesterday. :)

Helene- Wow, great workout yesterday. ;)

Happy Monday all! This weekend went fast. Yesterday we bummed around the house. I worked on a powerpoint presentation for school and then after dinner we played Chutes and Ladders and Duck, Duck, Goose. The kids loving playing duck, duck, goose in the living room for some reason, lol. Today's workout will be PUB. I am really going to try my friend's suggestion on doing more weights less cardio to get more definition. I am still iffy on it though. I need my cardio fix, lol. It will have to wait until tomorrow when I do IMAX 2 :D.

Iris- sorry you had a bad weekend. Maybe this week things will get better.

Belinda- good luck with your workout. did you get any snow?

Melissa- OMG, I had the doll and watched the cartoon all the time when I was a kid. I used to sing the theme song when I played with the doll. She's truly outrageous! LOL!

Lori- How'd it go with the marathon? I assume you are resting today? you deserve it. I hope you ate something really yummy and carbs after that race. I know I would have, lol.

You know Kristin, I was thinking........going from cardio junkie to only 2 days? That's quite a switch..... and if that's what you like to do, why change it so drastically. So, I def. agree on more weights, but if you get the chance to do some short cardio's on your shorter weight days (such as with PUB and PLB, or a 4DS dvd) then go for it. Certainly won't hurt! OR, get the best of both worlds and add more circuits? Just thoughts.............
 
Morning ladies!

This morning I did the cardio only premix from C&W & STS M1D10. I can't wait until Meso 1 is over. All those push ups are KILLING me! I also have some serious DOMS in my inner thighs. I don't know if it's from Sat's STS legs or the Skier's Edge workout from yesterday but it's really hard to get up and sit down :eek:

Belinda, hope things are warming up by you!

Iris, sorry your weekend sucked :( Whenever you need to vent, don't worry about doing it here; God knows I do!! I am counting down the seconds til I leave...I put a ticker up on my blog so whenever someone here pisses me off, I bring it up and I can breathe a sigh of relief ;)

Kristin, LOL!! I had the Jem doll too! Remember how huge they were compared to Barbie?! I always sang the theme song too. Actually, the night I decided I was gonna be her for Halloween (I changed costume ideas this year about 3x), I was singing the theme song the entire time. The part of the costume I'm most excited about is the wig I found; it was only $10 and it's this HUGE mop of blonde & pink hair. I can't wait to wear it! I agree with Iris, maybe add some shorter cardio to your weight days? I'm a cardio junkie too and I find I can't just do a weight workout, so on STS days I do short cardio WOs that are around 30 min long.

Helene, let me tell you, you were my inspiration lats night. There was chocolate cake in the fridge and I didn't even eat any!! I wanted it so bad but I said if Helene could do it, so could I!! Clean eating vibes are finally making it over to me ;)

My whole team is in Hotlanta today so it's nice & quiet at the hole. Except for Chet who has been complaining all morning but who cares about him?! :D

Good Morning ladies,

I missed you guys over the weekend! My computer virus is back:confused: I'm not sure that I ever really got rid of it actually. I think I may have to have it re-imaged which means I will lose all of my installed programs and will have to set everything (like itunes) up again:mad:. Anyways, just not up to checking in on my phone these last few days, which, btw, I dropped into a toilet on Thursday! It appears to be working fine, but how nasty, ey? This morning's wo was D10 Chest, Shoulders & Biceps. Everything got good and sore so I'm hoping for DOMs tomorrow. I'm trying to decide what I'll do during my rest week next week. I've been eating way too bad to take it too easy:confused:

Iris - Hope your day gets better, Negative Nancy (LOL!). Has your cold finally disappeared?

Lori - Congrats on finishing your marathon! How many does this make for you?

Kristin - I didn't leave the house one time yesterday and it felt great! I did LM, BM Abs & SM3. It felt so good to get on a step. I have to go along with Iris and Melissa...add more weight work to your cardio days. If it's not what you're in to you may start to dread it.

Melissa - We're on the same STS schedule! There were a lot of push ups in this one. What do you think you'll do during your rest week? I'm thinking about a week from one of FF's GRFS rotations. Enjoy your quiet day!

So, I am officially changing my work schedule to 8-4 today. DSD did pretty well last week getting the girls to school so hopefully we can continue with it for a while. It made such a huge difference to be home at 5:30 instead of 7:00. Workouts are early as hell, but it's worth it.

Anyways, it's slow at work today so I'll be hanging around.

I just got done with my workout. I was in meetings all day long. Glad this is over, thank goodness they only once every 3 month. DH worked out with me, we also did abs from Circuit abs " Med ball abs + with the partner" 19 min.That one was so much fun, I almost wet my pants. I was laughing so hard, lol! I was so afraid to catch the ball in my face, I kept dropping the ball rather than catching it:eek: I got better after awhile! I have a 10# med ball, that would hurt:p

CHEST:
Flat Barbell Bench Press
- 55#/15 reps - 2 sets - Warmup
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 80#/12 reps - 4 set, up 5#

Incline Dumbbell Press - 25's/12 reps - 4 set, up 1#

Decline Dumbbell Press - 25's/12 reps - 3 sets, up 1#

Flat Dumbbell Flyes - 23's/12 reps - 4 sets

TRICEPS:
Double-Arm Overhead Tricep Extension - 30#/12 reps - 3 sets, up 2#

Weighted Bench Dips - 50#/12 reps - 3 sets, up 5#

Dumbbell Kickbacks - 14#/12 reps - 3 sets, up 1 #

Hi girls,

This weekend was a lot of fun. We did do a bunch of hikes and it was pretty amazing. My eating was so crappy. I was thinking about Belinda, the part of town we stay in has a large German population. At night we hung out in an authentic German tavern. I could have used Belinda to translate for me:D My eating was especially crappy when we visited the German bakery . . . scary that they remember me to:confused:

I did KPC after work today and it felt good to get in some cardio.

Belinda - At the German tavern they were doing this neat dance not sure what the real name is but I'll call it slap dancing:confused: you would have fit right in. They also sang a bunch of German songs . . . when I went to look and see what kind of songs they had in the jukebox, they were all in German:)

Lori - I saw Helene & Iris posted about your race. Great job. So how do you feel?

Iris - Sorry about your weekend but that's why we are here so don't hesitate to post:)

Helene - I kept seeing signs to Woodstock and thinking about you. I think I was about an hour away from Albany, except other then a CVS & Dunkin Donuts in town not much commercialism there.

Kristin - It's probably worth it to change it up a bit and see if what your friend says works.

Melissa - So I never heard of those cartoon characters does that make me old;)

Trish - Hey, you'll be home before it gets dark:) that alone is worth it.

Amelia - Any word on the job yet?

Cookie - How are things?

Kirstin - glad you had a great weekend. My kids loved to play duck,duck goose too. Fun game! It did snow in Weiden about 20 min from us! It's so cold outside. It will hit us soon.
