::: CHEETAHS ::: Got holiday spirit? Sunday

RunninTeach

Cathlete
Good Sunday morning, cheetah yo-yos!
http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/stockingsmiley1.gif
I woke up at 2:30 and have not been able to fall asleep, so here I am. http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/insomniasmiley.gif
I'm sure I'll be staggering back to bed at some point.

::: Catchin' up with personals :::

Wendi :: I think the forecast originally called for a mix of snow/ice/rain that would ultimately just become rain, but the temp is 38 right now (middle of the night!), so my guess is just rain. I’m south and east of the city, so folks up where you, Judy, and maybe even Wendy are, are going to get the “good stuff.” Stay warm today!
http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/snoshovelf.gif

Christine :: I think that chick mighta been lit already when she picked out leather pants to wear to the company party…???…lol…Class is usually good…this time, some of my “classmates” worked my nerves a little bit. Teachers are, I think, sometimes the worst students. Picture a group of teacher NERDS. I’m talkin’ the most anal group of people you could possibly find. (And yeah, I toss myself in that group because I am a complete nerd when it comes to teaching. Not that I’m an anal control freak the way some are, but I am really, really driven to improve myself and learn and get better, and I take that part pretty seriously.) Anywho, we broke out into small groups and I wound up with this intense cluster of worriers and they all just started GEEKIN’ out yesterday, firing question after question to the facilitators and talking about how they broke down and cried, don’t know what to do, yada yada yada. And all talking at once, too, http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/yapyapyapf.gif which drives me nuts. Let the facilitator FINISH SPEAKING!!!! And if your question is too specific to YOUR certification, save it for one-on-one--don’t waste everyone’s time. OK, I believe I'm officially ranting here. *lol*
http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/stopsign.gif Short answer: it was still good but a little less productive this time because the group was a bit needy…Ahhh, a villa in Italy??? What a dream vacation!!! I hope that comes to fruition for you all.

Linda :: CABs & Abs was originally a group of people who started P90X around the same time—last January. (I joined about a month after everyone else, actually.) I think the name evolved to CABs and Abs eventually because one member started us using the terms CABs (cold adult beverages http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/winesmiley.gif ), to which we make a lot of joking references. It probably makes us sound like lushes, but in reality, I don’t think any of us indulge in libations all that often. But we do like to have fun!! Like the way our cheetah group is, new members are always welcome!!!…Hey, I think as long as you’re getting use of the kb’s, that’s a good thing! Unlike Stupidity. DOH! I mean, Fluidity! ;) :7)

Today will be 4DS CST premix, cardio TBD, and pullups. Would be ideal to get in that 2nd day of legs. Might toss in a leg mishmosh of some kind. Better eat my Wheaties first! *lol* If not, I'll be satisfied with a single leg w/out.

What are all you fabulous cheetahs up to today? (Once you get up, that is!)

LOL Cathy! I would say you're up late, but I guess that would be me!?!

I just finished up with my final crap for my online class and now I am a free bird (for classes anyway) until Jan 14 and a new semester begins.. It's now 12:50 a.m. out West and I'm so gacked out from coffee and working on this final project that I don't feel like going to bed yet. I think I'll take this opportunity to go read the last couple of days cheetah happenings and come back to post....

BBL - Thomasina

Yes ma’am, I’ve got the spirit now! Now that school is finished I can get focused on finishing my decoratemax and organize myself to get the baking, wrapping, shopping and etc finished. I’m supposed to get up early and take DS out shopping to get his GF a present, and some other items but at this rate I’ll be barely getting a nap before it is time to go! LOL Yeah, DS 15 ½ (gotta add the half!) is a football player and his GF of 6 months is a the most darling little cheerleader – she’s about 4’11?? Anyway, he’s interested in getting her some jewelry…uh oh! LOL. We talked about maybe a nice garnet birthstone pendant necklace or something. I told him a ring is too serious right now.....

I want to thank all of the enabling Itrain cheetahs for re-kindling my love for Grace and Itread. HOLY COW have I just let that gal kick my arse the past few days! LOVE the new top 40 download too! I used Lorie’s idea and put my huge ROCK STAR medal in where I could see it while I did this run….very motivating…

Cathy - Love your lil smiley guys - the snow shoveler is really funny. I guess when i get the dang pic trail going,I can post smiley too...right?

LMAO about Wendy’s private thread!! Oh no, poor Wendy, are you kidding? These Cheetahs would send the search party if ya really went missing dahling.... I agree with the other Cheetahs - time to find another gym...

Lori – you sound like me trying to fit in a post or two! Hope your weekend and party went well.

Sunny – uh, yeah, this place is sooo enabling…I just had to buy the Core Synergy DVD so my BOSU wouldn’t feel lonely at Christmas without a present too….

Shelly – I’ve been looking at baby leashes; do you prefer the pink with fluffy bows or the black and orange with flames? LOL – I bet she’ll pick the “Harley-ish” looking one…40 degrees is still too cold for you? I’d rather run in the cold than the heat…only problem with the cold is my asthma gets cranky in the cold….

Marcia – Hi there! That’s great about the treadmill! Make sure to download some itreads from itrain. Grace will really work you out on the treadmill!

Kristi – Awe, I hope things settle down for you so you can enjoy your holiday and company. I also get nice DOMS from the B&G premix – it’s that horned lady with the innocent smile saying “you gotta earn it!”….lol

Christine – LOL at Mizz Leatherpants ….can you believe getting that shhnockered wearing such great shoes? I mean sheesh… As for your DD and relationship issues…I know what you mean. I just had another “talk” with my DS tonight after he arrived home from GF’s house….there are so many pressures on kids these days. I do my best to just listen to them when they have relationship issues and offer up a “if it were me” and “yeah, I was there before” sort of talking so they can take what they need and make some choices on their own of what to do. Mostly with my girls I have done this. …For me, I have to be very careful not to want to “fix” everything for them….

Wendi – OMGoodness.. a Corolla! A 1977 Toyota Corolla was my first car! LOL. Geesh, isn’t that thing kinda like riding a quad in the snow? ….Yummy! I love fish
tacos! I went out to dinner with my brother and his wife (that were in town escaping a very frozen powerless Oklahoma) last night and was very bad.. I had lime and tequila shrimp fajitas…..um, with a Negra Modelo…yum!

Carole – Hope you enjoyed your day off. I’m sorry our DH is a snorer…my DH can be like that at times. Apparently, I can give a pretty good snore myself and I know when I’ve done good cuz I wake up and DH is on the couch with the dog! LOL… This is usually when I have a bad cold or my sinuses get jacked up….

Jackie – Yeah, you’re way too nice to be a postal employee…but I also find that killing the freaking out idiots with kindness always proves to be a win/win situation….Chili sounds good, I make mine vegetarian though…

Lorie – YES, you should ask for a BOSU from Santa’s elves and then get the BOSU a present for Christmas called Core Synergy…I did! I even helped the elves find it and everything….Hope your visit with XDF went well.

Linda – Cute about DH and the Christmas carols… hope the party was fun. I’m getting into the spirit now too…

Judy – Wow, running uphill against the wind in 37 degree weather… we’ll call you Grace #2! So nice you saved that lil’ black lab. I have picked up a few dogs here and there that were running along the highway on my way to work. I am always grateful when they have tags to locate the owner.

Can’t figure out why I’m not tired yet…sheesh.. After getting a bite to eat and reading a bunch of posts it is now after 2 am PST - holy smokes, that’s 5am-something to our East coast cheetahs…. I better go try to get in a few winks before DS and I head out shopping….

Have a great Sunday Cheetah friends….I hope I didn’t forget anyone…

Thomasina

PS TO CAROLE AND WENDI ------ ~* GO COWBOYS!!! *~ hee hee….

My,my...you never really know what goes on here in the middle of the night! LOL I got home at 2...I should have joined you gals for a conversation!;)

Cathy** Enjoy your workout. I plan on taking a rest day but Im sure once I read everyones plans Ill want to do something!

Thomasina** Thats to funny about your DS! I will be doing that some day, Im sure. Your idea sounds nice though.

We had a great time at the party last night. I stopped drinking though b/c I had to work at 8 in the morning. I knew I could handle being tired, but not hungover and tired;( So I wanted to leave around 1:15 but by the time DH got on the go and clued up his tab...it was a bit later.
My God...Im looking out the window at 2 young kids running around on the tarmac! Can you imagine? Your parents are rich enough that you are on a private jet and on your way somewhere.Probably for christmas!

Later today I am going to run out and get some more things for DH for christmas. I should have him clued then.

There are kids out there everywhere!!!! LOL

Lori:)

Good morning ladies,

today is a workout with my good ol' pal grace L...lol. i have such upper body DOMS from my KB workout yesterday. i just love that one!!

wendy-so when are you starting your hunt for a new pt job, along with a new gym? do you have a new york sports club anywhere close?

thomasina- LMAO, re: getting your bosu a gift. how cute!! go get some sleep girl...;o)

Lori- enjoy your run today!

jackie- what a cute story about the little girl. so true and so sad that in this day something so cute could have been perceived as something bad. i am loving the TT workouts, they have a little bit of everything (including KB swings) and just enough to kick my butt}( :p

cathy- your pics are not gross at all. i couldn't make out the last one but i am sure you look beautiful. i am hoping for the same results i see the dr. on monday and will talk to them re: upping my dosage. just for a little while because i don't want to go thru the joint pain.

judy- how very nice of you to rescue that dog. you are such a sweet person.

christine- glad DD14 and her bf didn't break up and she is not going to have to deal with a heartbreak anytime soon. i know your heart would break right along with hers. that is one of the things i do not look forward to when my sons get old enough to date:eek: .

carole- ds did fine with his bball game. he was disappointed because his team lost again. after registration ended they had alot more children sign up so the coach kept the kids that knew how to play and all the kids that this is their first time got moved to another team. so each week there team gets kinda beat upx( . it's pretty disheartening. however dh is one of the coaches and is really working with him:) .

linda- isn't it fun trying out new toys!! where did you get your KB's? i ordered a couple from power systems and picked up one from target. which workouts did you purchase? i have a couple (can't think of the name, will post later) that includes tutorials and then a workout.

wendi- i am lovin' the tt workouts so far. well the DOMS from friday's workout are gone, however now i have some from yesterdays, lol. those chocolate nachos sound heavenly!!!

shelly- i am so proud of you for making the decision to go with your gutt and do something about changing your job! thanks for the good luck re: ds's game! i received your card, thank you!!!

ladies i shall return later....:)

Good morning cheetahs

Cathy...Bats was a horror movie from 1999 with Lou Diamond Phillips, not really a great movie but I like watching those when I can't sleep..here is a general outline of it: "Bats, the result of a government experiment gone wrong, have suddenly become intelligent, vicious, and omnivorous, and are attacking people near Gallup, Texas. Bat specialist Sheila Casper and her assistant Jimmy are brought in but can they stop the bats before the military comes in and, in their ignorance, makes things worse"? Quite a mish moshing good workout yesterday...:)..sorry about the insomnia, must be going around this week...have fun with the 4DS workout and cardio...

Tomasina....DH has snored like that forever, if I kick him enough he does leave and go to the couch...:D...Good job on finishing your online class!! This is just for you...http://www.sanfords.net/Spots_free_graphics/Sports/NFL/dalhelmet.gif

Lori..sounds like a nice party. I bet those kids were cold running around on the tarmac.

Sunny...I bet is can be sad for the little guys when they start playing sports and loose some games. That is good your DH is a coach and he can help...:)..Have fun with Grace today.

Wendi...I'd love to help you with your PC, wish you lived closer...:)..my DH would no doubt LOVE those nachos!! Thanks, I did sleep a LOT better last night.

Linda...so you have a snorer too...I sleep with earplugs too, but the other night they did NOT seem to help. I slept much better last night. I do hope the floor guy shows tomorrow too...Good workout yesterday...I actually do the Sumos with only a 30lb BB and I put it behind my neck as the 1st time I tried those with the BB like Amy, they irritated my low back...

Christine..congrats on being DONE with X-mas shopping. So happy to hear your DD14 did not break-up with her BF. Sounds like a fun X-mas party...interesting there seems to be always one drunk one, and they are usually fun to watch...:)..you are sweet but the Raiders have no chance against Peyton!! I will be watching the Green Bay game and later the Cowboy game. I am sure the Pats will win their game.

Jackie...that is cool you got a new HDTV for your workout room! I love the running tights I got at Sport's Authority, they are Nike's but were a bit pricey. That is such a cute story about the 2 little girls, gives you a warm X-mas smile...:)...

I ended up doing iClimb 17 core conditioning yesterday. It was perfect...and I got ALL my cheetah X-mas cards done and mailed...http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/r/dance.gif[/img]

Today will be a 6-7 mile run depending on the thigh/hip issue. Then of course Football!!!

Hi Sunday Cheetahs

The weather outside is frightful....for real! We can't find our Sunday newspaper because it got plowed in. DH is reading on line. Our snow changed to freezing rain then sleet and back to snow. We expect more snow and blizzard conditions today.

Sunny- which iTrain are you doing? Yesterday I opted for iSculpt Ballet. It has sections for barre, core, floor and cool. I followed up with IStretch 24. It was OK I have to look at the pictures as some of the descriptions I was unsure of. I have done some KB work. DS's trainer likes to use them with him.

Cathy- Every school district can use more teachers like you. Keep it up! People who dominate the discussions with selfish issues can be annoying. x(

Thomassina -congratulations on finishing up for the semester. :7

Lorie- How is it going with Mr. X this weekend?

Wendi- Chocolate nachos sound delish

Hi YaYas Linda, Shelly, Carole, Wendy

Christine- I agree about DD doing her own thing sometimes. Teenage romance can be so stressful. We have had some 'drama' here too..

Lori- Those kids have a different life than most. DD and DS babysit for some kids that are part of a family with a private jet. They have no clue how privileged they are.

I am not what WO to do today. Yesterday was pretty light with isculpt ballet and iStretch. I could do a circuit WO if the mood strikes....

DH just decided to brave the elements and go buy a newspaper. He looked in the snow bank and found nothing. He also volunteered to put gas in my car while he is out! The worst part about winter is pumping gas in the cccccold and wind!

ETA- Hi Carole! you posted while I was still writing! I hope you hip lets you run pain free today. This might be a dumb question, but do you need new shoes? Or different ones? ( Forgive me if you have already ruled out shoe issues.) Have you picked up this book: "Instant Relief... Tell Me Where it Hurts and I'll tell you what to do" I think Barb (onedayatatime) originally recommended here. I find the stretches in it to be helpful.

Judy...HI!...I did just get new shoes before the LV HM Dec 2nd. My massage therapist and my chiro both think it is ITB related but of course higher up on the thigh. I am hoping cutting back on running and rolling & icing will help. I will check out that book also...Thanks...:)

i haven't read anything but plan to later. i did want to post quickly to say that things are going well. we have had a nice time just hanging out and running holiday errands. i told him i am not ruling anything in or out and have left it at that.

on another note, that cold i have been trying to avoid is now in my chest so i have not worked out since thursday. i am NOT going to be stupid and do what i did last time when i ended up with BRONCHITIS! so, i am going to resist the urge to work out and hopefully kick this thing.

anyhoo...i hope to read yesterday and today's threads and bb for personals.

Good morning Cheetahville!

Wow, the den sure is hopping this morning!

Well, I've got every appendage crossed and am hoping that I won't have to go into work today. It is dreadful outside...but not quite as bad as where poor Judy is! Since I knew I wouldn't have to be in first thing I took advantage of the extra time this morning and did Low Max (holding a 8lb DB during the blasts...I love that!), followed by B&G glute squeezes, firewalkers, low pulse lunges and stability ball abs. What a great workout...I just hope I can walk tomorrow }(. Then I figured, WTH, I'm already sweaty I should just go shovel now. Well, that took another 1 1/2 hours and it was heavy! 4" of snow, compacted and topped with a layer of ice, with another 1" on top of that. By the time I was done with my morning "workout" I had burned a total of 1050 calories !!!

Cathy - LOVE the smilies! Had to LOL at your description of class from yesterday! Sorry your sleep got cut short. Enjoy your workout today!

Thomasina - You were insanely awake for that hour of the morning (night)! Your DS sounds like a sweetie! Oh, those fajitas sound amazing! Good luck getting all of your holiday to do list done! LOL about the quad in the snow. I actually prefer to drive my car than our big Ford diesel, which I do love. That thing sux in the snow if it doesn't have a horse trailer attached to it, though.

Lori - LOL at the kids on the tarmac! Congrats on getting some attention from a certain pilot...you hot chickie you! IA, it is a wonderful pick-me-up! Glad you had fun at the party...definitely too late for me, though. Thanks for the card, hon!

Sunny - Glad to hear you're enjoying the tt workouts. Have a great run today!

Carole - Yay on getting your cards out! Nice to hear that you were able to get some good zzzzzzzzz's last night. Enjoy your run and football!

Judy - Oh my, it looks like you're gettting walloped! Had to lol about the missing paper! Do be careful today!

Lorie - Sending healing {{{VIBES}}} your way! Take it easy and don't push it! I love your whole approach regarding (X)DF. You do what's best for YOU!

Christine - Too funny about Miss Leatherpants! I have to agree with whoever said that she was probably already lit when she chose that "ensemble"! It does sound like it was a good time, though.

Linda - Thanks for asking about "Cabs"...I've always wondered that too but didn't have the guts to ask ;-) lol.

Well, gotta check in with the boss and see what he wants to do today *rolls eyes*. Hopefully I'll be back sooner than later! Ciao!

WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!

*Sing song*...I've got a snow day, I've got a snow day!!!!

I think I'll head out and finish up my Christmas shopping and other assorted errands. BBL chickies!

Good Morning All!

Cathy – Sorry you couldn’t sleep!! Ick! Yeah, you’re probably right about the VP. Leather pants to a company party? Sounds like your class is a pretty cool group! I love hearing about teachers who really love their jobs, but sorry the group was a little needy! You can rant all you want. I hope the Villa in Italy happens, too. It would be a blast. I need to get on the phone with my sis and talk to her about it. Enjoy your workout – sounds like a goodie!

Thomasina – Yay! You’re free until Jan 14th! That’s nice! You’re too funny. Oh, isn’t it fun to have teenagers with GF’s and BF’s? Nice job in steering him away from a ring. I don’t think my DD BF would even think to get my DD jewelry. He’s too much of a geek. :p I agree with you not to “fix” things. I’m gently nudging DD to be a little more flexible with letting him do things that do not involve her sometimes. That’s so cool that you’re getting into Grace and the iTreads. Now you’re making me want to join the local gym to get in a run on the treadmill – and I NEVER thought I’d say that!

Lori – Oh, that would be something to have parents with their own private jet! Sounds like you were smart last night at the party! That’s late to get in for an 8AM work time! You’re much more patient and understanding than I am. I’d have been tugging on DH’s sleeve around 11. :p But, I am an old fart. :+

Sunny – You did Tracy’s KB yesterday, right? Which one? Kids are a true blessing, but we do feel everything they do. The teenage years are rough on everyone! :p But it’s worth it.

Carole – Bats sounds like a great movie to watch when you’re half asleep. Too funny. I now the Raiders do not have much of a chance, but as I’m not a Colts fan, I’ll still cheer for the Raiders. :p Enjoy your run and your games – hope the hip feels better!

Judy – Oh no! Your newspaper got plowed in?! Oh, ick! I’ll be sending good thoughts that you keep your electricity and everyone stays warm and safe! I remember pumping gas in winter and freezing! Nice of your DH do volunteer to do that for you. How sweet. You do have a beautiful family!

Lorie – Hope you’re feeling better! Good job with resisting working out. And I’m glad to hear you had a good time with xDF!

Wendi – Wow! What a workout! I traded Low Max, so now I can’t do it and I want to. How predictable! Wow! On the calorie burn! Glad to hear you have a snow day!!! You get to enjoy your day! Only in snow country would a winter storm mean a day of Christmas shopping. LOL.

Well, I have to be getting my tush in gear soon. The Pats play early, so I have to be done with my workout by then. I’m planning a double Boot Camp (the original) workout again. I need it after my eating the past few days (week?). I have that Cooking Light Special Edition with the 94 Week-day meals. I made Parmesan chicken and rice last night and it was delicious! And easy – finished in ½ an hour. I’m going to make the Rosemary Merlot Flank Steak tonight. I’ll let you know how it is. I’m really liking this issue! Have a great day all! Hope our snowed-in friends stay warm and dry and keep their electricity!

Christine - I wouldn't trade my Cooking Light subscription for the world! So far everything that I've tried has been absolutely delish. I do tweak them just a bit but I couldn't live without them! The flanks steak sounds yummy! Enjoy 2XBC ! I don't think I could get through that killer twice!

arghhhhhhhhh, no grace for me today. i didn't get out soon enough and dh is going to work today for some OT. as the gyms do not have childcare of sunday's i will have to pick out something to do at home...and i was looking forward to a runx( . will come back to let you know what i decided upon.

christine- i did tracey's sweatfest KB!! whew is my UB talking to me today...let me know if you decide you want lowmax again.

just checked out today's newspaper and we have a new gym coming to town...whoohooo!!

have a great day all!

Good morning cheetahs! Alot of activity for a Sunday in cheetahville! I had the place to myself all yesterday after coming home from work. DH was gone all day at an auction (thankfully didn't end up spending too much) Anyway, I got in a good run - did 10k exactly around my hilly neighborhood. Struggled some on the first 3 miles but then got in the groove. Also had a good round with HSTA and even did a little stepping with Mindy. Also got some housework done so I was feelin righteous;-) :) . Today will just be an errand day and some fun kickboxing!

Wendi- I know what you mean about how special it is to be getting the Cheetah christmas cards! I have to admit I'm much more thrilled about getting them then the "family" cards. They are sitting in a special place (that's probably true for all of us!)
You're chocolate nachos sound truly decadant:9 topped with strawberries.... that that cancels out the rest right? ;-)

Judy- Yes, I did get through a good challenging outdoor run, but didn't have to deal with the wind like you did. I guess you're a snowbound cheetah today! That's brave of your DH to head out today!

Carole- I have heard that UnderArmour makes great stuff. Do you have any recommendations for websites where I may find a bargain?
Good luck with your run today!! I totally understand and sympathize re: snoring DH!! I'd go insane without my hearos earplugs!!!

Linda- I really enjoy the 4DSBC, it's the most intense 30 minute cardio workout I own! Amy's ACSII is one I reach for ALOT, it is so fun once you learn it!! Very intense also!

Christine- Congrats on finishing with the shopping!!

Jackie- Loved your story about the little ones at Wally world.
I think it would have melted even my crusty old heart! I do feel sorry for any postal worker this time of year, even if you don't have to do much customer contact!

Cathy- Whatchadoin being up at 0230!!! Hope you got back to sleep!
I loved your description of the class of teachers... Too funny!
You've been getting alot of use out of the 4DS workouts.

Thomasina- Great to see you posting today.... I love reading your witty comments! LOL about the baby leashes. Speaking of Harley...
we bought one of our dogs a leash with the Harley symbol that says
"bad to the bone" It's a joke because she is actually a lovable total goofball (and she's a "gasp" pit bull) Your description of the iTread top 40 has me intrigued. I may have to get that one! It's been a while since I've purchased an iTread.

Lori- Sounds like you had a fun, although tiring party. Have a great rest day!

Sunny- How sad that your DS lost his game:( I'm glad he is getting good coaching though and I bet it won't be long before they start winning. Have fun with Grace today.

Lorie- Glad to hear you're letting your bronchitis resolve before working out again. You could always do some yoga until it gets better!

I think that about catches me up. I'll be heading downstairs soon to do KPC/L&G circuit and KM leg drills. Later today it'll be Amy's KBext.

Good morning Cheetahs!

Cathy - Glad you're enjoying the Bosu. Think I'll pull mine out tomorrow along with Barry. Will you need a nap today? Hope you had a good workout.

Wendi - Those chocolate nachos sound absolutely divine. Have you ever had fried chocolate pie. Absolutely sinful with probably 2000 calories. Glad you don't have to go out in the cold today. Enjoy!

Christine - Glad DD didn't break up with BF. But, you're right, she doesn't need to be too wrapped up in him. I'm sure you will help her along the way. Funny stories from the party.

Linda - Good luck with the KB workouts. Interested to hear how you like them.

Thomasina - Yay for being finished with your class. Enjoy that break! Glad you're enjoying Grace once again - the speed demon that she is. My chili is vegetarian too since I only eat fish right now.

Lori - Glad you had a good time at the party.

Sunny - Sorry to hear DS team lost. I hate when the little ones lose. They should all be winners. Glad DH is working with him. Have fun with Grace today.

Carole - Laughing at you kicking DH. I've been reading if you sleep on your left side you don't snore as much. Don't know how true that is. Enjoy your run and football today!

Judy - Sounds like awful conditions in your neighborhood. Stay warm and safe.

Lorie - Glad everything went well with exF. Hope you can shake that cold. Get plenty of rest.

Rest day for me. It's cold and windy. But, I have to go to church. So, no vegging today.

Enjoy your day!

Jackie

Good morning!

Cathy – Oh man! I am sorry you woke up so early! Thanks for solving the mystery of the checkin name for me! I never would have guessed! It sounds like a fun checkin! Boy…you have that right about the Fluidity! And it’s not that I don’t like it…I just don’t do it. I would love to sell that and my other stupid purchase of my Supreme Pilates! Grrr! I feel really bad, because I told you how I loved the Fluidity! And I did (I “do”)! But…too little time and I love my other stuff “more”!  Yep! You had better go eat those Wheaties before you get started on your planned workout! Sounds Like a great one!

Christine – That sounds like a cool party! But, it would have really been tough to stand the whole time in heels!
Glad you had fun! I remember when my daughters were that age! Time just flies! It is hard to deal with them dating! You worry about them, but also because it is bittersweet to see them growing up sooo fast! I love Amy’s workouts! I did Hi/Lo Dome for the first time this morning and loved it! I can’t wait to hear what you think of SloMo!

Thomasina – That is so sweet that your DS is wanting to get his GF jewelry! Grace can kick some serious arse, can’t she? I haven’t used my credits for December yet! I will have to download the Top 40 one! Glad to know you like it! That was a good idea about putting the medal where you can see it to motivate you!
Oh, I agree! Your Bosu definitely need a present too!

Lori – I am glad you had a good party last night! I imagine you are wiped out! Good job, though, on stopping drinking so you wouldn’t be hungover, as well as tired! Have fun Christmas shopping.

Sunny – I got my KBs at Dick’s. They are the GoFit ones. I think that is what Target has, too, isn’t it? I started to order from Power Systems, but they were there…staring me in the face at the store…so I got ‘em. ;) The workouts I got are IronCore Way I and IronCore Way II. Let me know the name of yours when you find out! Oh dear! I am sorry your workout with Grace got cancelled!

Carole – Enjoy your run today! Good job on the iClimb yesterday! Sometimes my earplugs do no good, either! Grr! I have done the Sumo’s with the BB behind my shoulders, also. It worked really well that way. The KB didn’t hurt me near as bad, though as the BB in front like Amy does. That hurt my back a lot, too. Enjoy football!

Judy – Oh my! Sounds like your weather is dreadful! Sorry about the plowed up newspaper! I agree about pumping gas in the cold and wind! The cold gas pump even freezes your hands through gloves!

Lorie – I am glad things are going well and more relaxed. Good for you for sticking to your guns! Take care of yourself and don’t let that cold go into bronchitis! Hope you kick it!

Shelly – Good job on your run and HSTA! Enjoy KPK and L& today! All of you guys have really made me anxious to try BC. I will make it a point to do it this week!

Wendi – LOL…I am glad I am not the only one that didn’t know what Cabs was! Wow!! Great workout! All that on top of shoveling snow! That was sure a big-time calorie burner! I am happy for you that you got a snow day! I love snow days!!! But we NEVER, EVER get them  Grr!

Christine (again lol)– I did the double BC once when Cathe had it in a August rotation (I think it was August) a couple of years ago! I enjoyed it a lot! Can I come and eat dinner with you ? ;) That sounds yummy!

Jackie – Try to stay warm and dry today, if possible! It is very windy here, too! I will keep you posted on the KBs!

This morning I did Amy’s Hi/Lo Dome workout for the first time! I really enjoyed it. I usually hate hi-lo (except for Cathe’s, which I love!). I was griping to myself for the first few minutes about “why was I doing this? I am just wasting my workout time”. But…. I started to really enjoy it a lot! I actually think I will like it even more and more once I am more familiar with it. I did the Bosu part at the end and really enjoyed it, as well. I was afraid this would be one that I would be mad at myself for getting, but I am pleased! 

Hi to anyone that checks in or that I may have missed!

Linda
