Hi ladies -

I am up in the middle of the night again (have to go to the bathroom then can't go back to sleep - happens almost every night). I thought I would post some pics of the newly painted walls and the bedding.

I didn't tie the ties all pretty yet.

Here are some pics of the glider and the new hardware we put on the dresser.

Here is the whole room so far. I need curtains really bad! And that is my new stroller in the back corner.

Lovely Diane! And your getting lots of practice at getting up in the middle of the night. Good for you. I was up at midnight with DGS last night. He was up again at 5:30. He's been doing pretty well sleeping through the night till about 7 am, so I don't know what going on last night, but I'm pooped already.

Michele, will we hear anything about Italy today?

Dana, are you hiding under your desk at work?

Shelley, did you workout early again? You know, if you have the energy and the time, it probably wouldn't hurt to do some kind of easy workout in the evening. Maybe just some pushups or ab work. I love the days I can workout early. I feel all self-righteous for the rest of the day.

Cathe's rotation calls for the S&H workouts this week, but since I don't have them, I'll be substituting PS. I'm not sure which one I'll start will this afternoon.

Check back with you all later.

Good morning!!

Diane -- I'm sorry you didn't get much sleep last night but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the nursery!!! LOVE IT!! The wall color looks great in the pictures. Didn't you say earlier that you picked out fabric for curtains? What kind of window treatment are you getting? Pictures, pictures, lots of pictures, we love pictures -- ROTFLOL!!

Robin -- OMG I forgot to post my 1st travelogue entry. I'll do it today -- this morning -- as soon as I have breakfast. It's not quite finished but it won't take me long. Okay, I'm ROTFLMAO because I've built up all this suspense and really, it's not that exciting. It probably isn't going to be interesting to anyone but me. I think I can safely say that it's even, well, boring;) . So don't get your hopes up too high for some sweeping, dramatic saga or anything. There's no sex or anything like that -- ROTFLMAO!!

I hope little Greyor is okay. Hey, you don't have to have kids to be kept up all night. How about a DH who snores? ;( x(

I need breakfast.

WTH is Dana!?!?!?!? DANA -- We miss you:* :*

August, are you EVER coming back!?

Hi Corrie -- hows your step dad? Are you still smoke free? How about those lovely children of yours?

Hi Jen -- I can't wait to hear what the landscaper comes up with for you.

Shelley -- how are you today? I see you're trying to change your routine. Change is good:*

Hello to everyone I missed. I'll BB in a bit:*

Hey chicks!

Diane - I absolutely ADORE the nursery. Believe me when I say that in a few months, you won't give a rat's behind whether the ties are tied pretty:p

Robin - sorry Mr. Greyorpants had you up in the middle of the night. Babies are buggers like that.

Michele - I don't care if your travelogue is boring, I just want to read it!!!

I didn't manage to get up early to work out this morning. It's a 4 mile run and maybe some abs, so I'll do it this evening.

Thanks ladies! I can't wait to accessorize and tie everything together.

Michele - We have tried about 3 different curtains and don't like any of them. I decided today that I was just going to make my own so I get the exact fabrics I want and the exact measurements. And I just want simple panel curtains with a rod pocket, so shouldn't be too difficult. My mom is helping me so should be a fun project together. I am thinking of doing mostly pink (trying to match the crib sheet), with a 1 ft or 2 ft border of the paisley fabric that is in the crib skirt on the bottom. Or I may do the dots on the bottom, I haven't decided yet!

Sorry, I'm running out the door for a quick camping trip.

Step dad is doing better. My mom is in Vancouver. SMOKE FREE BABY!

Thanks to all you wonderful ladies for prayers and support - you are great.

I'll catch up next week when DH goes back to work.

Lots of hugs
Corrie

>That's why I can't wear boy shorts. They get all bunch up in the groinal region.

ROTFLMAO!!!

Diane, I think it's a really neat idea to sit down with your mom to make curtains. Oooh, dots or paisley...let me think...oh my, that's going to be a tough call. You really can't go wrong with either one. Have you thought about making coordinating throw pillows for the crib and rocker? You could make them in each of your fabrics. The paisley was a wise choice for the bedding. I remember thinking that I liked the floral fabric (peonies I think) a little better but now that I see the crib put together with the paisley I LOVE it. I'm so glad you didn't listen to me -- lol!

Corrie, I'm so glad that your step dad is getting better. Have fun with your DH and we'll be here when you get back!

I know, I promised my travelogue and I failed to deliver AGAIN!! I'm a total procrastinator and slacker. Actually, I've been busy and I've bitten off more than I can chew. I'll get to it -- I will. DH just got home and I need to get dinner on the table. I'll see you tomorrow:*

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me jumping in here. I just had to tell Diane I love her nursery. It is gorgeous. :)
