:)Good Morning!

Im going to start this thread quickly before Wendy starts her own ;):)

I had to leave the ramolli game last night early b/c DS was sick again. DH wants to take him to the hospital....only b/c our sitter told him that she knows a little boy who was sick , then fine, then sick and then they found out that his pneumonia had returned! :confused: I keep telling him that he as no other symptoms...he isn't coughing, he doesn't have a temp...his breathing his fine! He just as a stomach bug! Hopefully thats the end of it!

I am going for a run soon b/c we have DD's dance show at 2 this afternoon and I don't want to be rushed. I also feel like I should have my inlaws here for dinner b/c we are always being invited to their house. I guess thats it when I work full time! I have a ham in the fridge I am thinking about taking out.

Jacque** So you like silly hockey to?? Opps!;):) I guess I will find out who won soon enough!

Jen** Ramolli is a card game. We play with nickels so no big loses if you lose...and I never win! If we had to play for bigger money I would never play!

DS is playing with the mouse! I should finish this up before he deletes everythign on me!

Good Morning Peeps!

Ended up going out at the last minute and tying one on last night. It was fun but I'm kinda payin' for it now. :rolleyes: I fully intend to recover and be able to work out later though. I think I want to do lower body and hit the gym for a run or an EXT session. :)

So my step count as of 1am when I got home from the bar (LOL) was 8786. Not too bad. I thought it would be lower for sure. If I could have gotten someone to dance with me I could have made it to 10,000 steps. If I were home, I would have climbed those stairs until I made it for sure! :p

Jacque: NMTZ is an endurance weight work out that is over-all killer IMO. It moves quickly and is very challenging. I am loving Jillian! :D Still need me to get that food shopping done for you? I'll be right over to pick up your list! ;)

Lori: I have no idea how many times I climbed the stairs but it wasn't enough apparently cause I didn't hit 10,000 steps. :mad: Sorry your DS was sick again. That stinks. I will sweat during a weight work out but I am not usually DRIPPING the way I was with NMTZ. It moves fast which is probably the difference.

Jen: Glad you had fun with your friends y'day. We moms need that sometimes. :) I hear ya on the flat lining. I would be doing lots of that myself! :rolleyes: Sorry about the enabling but if it makes ya feel any better, all of the work outs I bought are $14.99 or less and alot of them are ON SALE at Amazon right now for $8.99 I think! You could also try Deep Discount as they always offer a free shipping option! ;) So how did your DSO do at the casinos and why didn't you go with him? :eek:

I think that catches me up for now. I need more coffee...and a nap! I think I am more tired then hung over at this point. I went to bed at about 1am and got up at 6am. :rolleyes:

Hey there early birds . . . (as the competition to start this thread continues . . .) :p

I never ended up running yesterday - took a short nap and then started some cleaning. By the evening I was still feeling my legs from B&G and LM so guess that was OK. I know I didn't hit 10K steps yesterday, but actually forgot to wear my pedometer. . .

Lori - So is ramolli a hard game, or just one of those about luck? If it is about luck, I'd be a loser every time ! Sorry to hear about DS being sick again. I understand DH's worry cuz you surely don't want to go there again . . . but then without a temp, cough or chest congestion, I'd tend to believe it is a virus also. Can you hear anything if you listen to his chest when he breathes? Are you able to go to a doctor, or can you only be seen in the hospital on the weekends there? Hope he gets to feeling better today. What kind of dancing does DD do? No worries about the hockey - I was JK ! ! ! We all have our own likes and dislikes !:D Which team is DH rooting for?

Wendy - good to hear you had a good time last night. Doesn't it suck when you have to pay for it though? Hopefully a nap will help - only 5 hrs of sleep leaves me nearly incognizant !

I did end up shopping for pineapple for our skewers last night so got it done, but thanks ! ;) It sounds like I needed the extra steps more than you by the end of the day anyway. I hit the sack at 10 so you had 3 more hours than me ! :p Now about those deals on Amazon . . . I like Jillian in 30 min shred too ! Just may check out NMTZ - I never did calculate my bills to see if I can get a GWF yet. I think with my metabolism these days, it will help me figure out this whole deficit thing. I don't want it to be all caloric deficit, want at least half to be exercise and I'm not sure where I stand in the calorie burning side of things. With all the playing around I've done the last year and a half, I still can't figure it out other than being soooo strict I cannot last very long. GWF may just be my answer. It is so much harder to maintain, let alone lose as I have gotten near and now past the 50 yr mark. I had no problems prior to that ! :(

Diana - how you feeling today? Is the weather getting better for you over there lately? I haven't seen the news for your area lately.

Jen - What all was your day like yesterday? Did you get a nice walk in or go play with the kids?

Laura - winner or loser ? ? ? :eek:

OK - apparently weekend are the time for me to write books . . . :rolleyes:

Work out done. Here it is:

3 minute walking warm up on tm
30 walking lunges
3-3:30 minutes cardio on tm
30 side to side plie squats
3-3:30 minutes cardio on tm
30 calf raises
3-3:30 minutes cardio on tm
30 dead lifts
3-3:30 minutes cardio on tm
30 squats
3-3:30 minutes cardio on tm
cool down
*done 2x through for a 50 minute work out.
*mixed up walking/running/flats/hills for cardio portions-changed it up every single time.
*used 10# DBs for everything.

I blew through 5,879 steps during this work out. Needless to say, 10,000 steps should be easy to conquer today w/o use of the extra stair climbs!;):D

I had to give up playing with the select techs today in order to do this circuit since I had to go to the gym to utilize the treadmill. It's okay though. I knew if I didn't do my entire work out in one place that it wouldn't all get done. Just not that motivated today. LOL

Well got my doggie's food nearly done and checked out Amazon. I'm thinking I'll get 3 of Jillians w/o's for $9 each. Then went to check on the GWF and they had it paired with the monitor & Jillian's latest book. Just went on a min ago and it is paired with one of the BL w/o DVD's. I hadn't seen that a couple weeks ago when I was looking at it. I think they change things up alot on the weekends and during the day when more people are online buying.

We'll see if it comes down a bit during the week?

Wendy - nice workout ! Sounds like it was some great leg work ! So did you get as "drippy" as you did with NMTZ ? Great job on the steps already !

OK - off to finish doggie food . . .
