Stateside Commitment
Posted 01-08-2009 at 09:07 PM by suzakusoul
Okay...so remember how excited I've been about starting Cathe and kicking myself into amazing shape in 2009??
Yeaa.....we are a bit behind on that goal. I am disappointed in myself because I did what I always do. I tell myself a start date (Feb 3rd, when I finally settle down in the states for an extended period of time)and then I do whatever I want up until then.
Hm...so THAT's why the scale says 155. >_< Ugh. Daaaanggit.
My schedule when I get to the states is going to be RIDICULOUS! Haywire. But I've decided that I MUST learn to make the daily commitment to fitness even if I don't have my Cathe and my step.
So...this is how my schedule looks:
Jan 10 - TRAVEL: Fly to Atlanta
Jan 10-Jan 16 - ATLANTA: Help my parents pack their entire house
Jan 17: TRAVEL: Drive to Alabama to visit friends
Jan 17-Jan 29: ALABAMA: Stay with my BFF (Yes we are grown up and refer to each other as that.)
Jan 29: TRAVEL: Drive to Louisiana
Jan 30-Feb 3: LOUISIANA: Help parents move in and attend my dad's first day of 'work'
Feb 3: TRAVEL: Fly to Indiana
Feb 3-April 25 (maybe later): INDIANA: Stay with my sister
Whew!! Now you can see why I've been putting off my fitness but I cannot do it! I must focus! So....here is my tentative fitness schedule.
ATLANTA: The Firm DVDs (the weights fit in my suitcase so why not?)
ALABAMA: Running at the Park or treadmill/elliptical at my BFFs apartment complex
LOUISIANA: The Firm DVDs
INDIANA: CATHE!!! (My sister is fiscally backing my Cathe addiction as a Christmas gift and all my step stuff is being sent to her house)
It's all about commitment right?? how is this time going to be different if i don't MAKE it different. Time to put down the soda and the pizza....well I'm finishing the coke in the fridge and that is IT!! ^_^

Suzakusoul:
That is one seriously crazy travel schedule! If i have learned anything from my MANY ups and downs it's: just get started now, even if you are busy (and you certainly are!). If you can fit your workouts into that schedule you can fit them in anywhere. Besides something will always come up to give you an excuse to delay or put off that workout. The goal should be to have your workouts as part of your day no matter what is going on (easier said then done, i know!). I have faith in you! ![]() |

I agree with Elle p, you can do it!! You've got another cheerleader backing you up!! Enjoy your time with your family and friends despite your crazy schedule and Just Do It!

I agree too, you can do it. I'm SSSOOOOO happy that you found a backer for your Cathe addiction. And you have a plan of action so you are good to go.
