A Sense of Accomplishment

Well I dragged myself out of bed yesterday and decided to try out Basic Step + Body Fusion. I'd been dreading opening the case even ever since I did High Step Circuit, which was produced around the same time for about the same level, and just didn't feel like Cathe was as "into it" as I rely on her being. Not to mention after LowMax, anything basic felt like a step down.
I love it when I'm wrong.
I previewed Body Fusion since it was 50 minutes long and involved weights (funny how I'm starting to actually LOOK for weight segments...what is goin on here!). I decided that the choreography was simple enough for me to do the ever dreaded 2 risers.
Totally. Worth it.
By the end of every combo, I was happily winded but not in agony and felt like I had enough energy to keep going which, as you all know, you don't necessarily feel all the time in a Cathe video. :P
I upped the weights a from the recommended 3lbs to 5lbs for the weight segments and felt further satisfied.
I'm happy to finally have at least ONE workout that I KNOW I can get through and still feel like I busted my tailfeathers sufficiently!
I was so inspired that when my insomnia kicked in during the wee hrs of the morning, I popped BodyMax 2 into my laptop and previewed a few premixes.
I REALLY liked the Boot Camp premix and I even think its doable for me (on 1 riser because I don't have a death wish) the only thing I DON'T dig is the "put-it-all-together" combo thingie....my vastly uncoordinated self can so do without that. *cry*
If nothing else I may just manually do my own mix which would just be the warm-up, power circuits, upper body weights, abs and stretch.
The scale has barely budged but I'm not really focusing on it. I instead look in the mirror and smile and the tiny changes which can't be TOO tiny since my sister keeps telling me how I'm shaping/scultping up nicely.
I'm currently struggling with getting out of my depressive funk which has completely erased my appetite. I'm now fighting with UNDEReating. >_< Oi.
That wraps it up for this edition. Hopefully my next post will be about the joys of the Boot Camp mix or, even better, the joys of MuscleMax (which should be here ANY day now!)

Cheers to your continued success! I like body fusion. I usually go back to it when i really don't feel like working out but i want to get in some weights and cardio.
