Friday's Musings

Not much occurred today...
As I sit here and listen to some relaxing jazz over on pandora.com ( A truly must see site for music aficionados Thank You Suzie aka Wake Up Eager)

.... I reflect over my day and finding it all as it was supposed to be. Everyone doing what they needed to do.

Earlier this morning after I took our kids to school through very dense fog I might add; I got home and a little apprehensive about oldest DD taking her dad's car to campus in the fog. She's never driven through inclement weather but there's always a 1st time.

So dh & I followed her in my car - of course she did well but as parents seeing our 1st born become a confident young adult we worried.

We continued on and went grocery shopping and after an insane amount of money spent came home.

I was then able to do my workout which consisted of Day 3 of week 1 in my PU challenge, the weight work in 4DS BC dvd followed by 2 sections of Ab Hits... overall a pretty good WO if I say so myself.

My weighted vest along with the 2 weight sets I ordered with it, came in today and oh I'm so pleased with it.

I look forward to using it muchly (hmmm is that a word? Nope don't think so)

So as I end this day time for me to think about what I am grateful/thankful for today:

  • My DD arriving to and from her classes today unscathed as she drove completely solo
  • The simpleness of prepping tonight's dinner and the kids saying how much they enjoyed it
  • My children all helping out with cleanup after dinner
  • The central ac unit keeping our home comfortable while outside is hot and very, very muggy.

Hi Shy Wolf,

What weight set did you buy? In particular, I'm interested in getting a weighted vest. My husband has one (30 pounds) from the military, but it doesn't breathe and it's way too bulky.

Talk to you soon!

Laura I ordered my weighted vest from ironwearfitness.com I also ended up ordering the xtra weight sets to adjust the vest.
It's really comfortable and easy to put on.
