Just a spot to write down my chatter about my workouts, what I did, how I feel and other nonsense

Another CCPP Day DONE!
I truly do love it when the peeps here and over in Coach Sean's place decide to do the CCPP day together.
Today was that day yet again!
Hah! Well V7 is my favorite and for the past 3 months there has been an add on challenge to CCPP day if you so choose to do it.
Of course I was game and so I went - OMG I felt good .....and then in Challenge 5 ....I swear I felt as if I was going to throw up, seriously I was ready to upchuck whatever was in there (Gross I know) .... but I ignored that feeling and kept on going until the feeling went away.
It's close to TOM for me and I've been feeling extra tired the past few days and my energy was reading way low at this point I mean I was ready to stop it right there; lets not even talk about the insane amount of crap I ate late last night due to tom coming - UGH!
As I was basically done with PP as it was intended the 1st steady state of V7 kicked in followed by Challenge 1 of V7 ( The add on challenge)
The guitars started and OH WOW - I caught that last bit of energy I needed to finish -- The music was perfecto!
Hell I even started going faster and the hell with staying at level 3 I was wanting level 4 and found my red zone!
All in all I did it!
But man one would think for all the times I have done CCPP I would get used to the part when I get to the cool down! That song "Another Day" starts to just choke me up and Oh Man! I have to hold myself back from not crying!
I dedicated this workout to my beautiful wonderful loving father who passed away 3 years ago 8.23.05 from cancer, to Tanya from the Land of Oz who is back at hospital for the pain in her ankle and to Kitty and her family (she lost her battle to cancer this year) I feel so sad when I hear Coach mention her in CCPP & of course to Jim.
Overall I feel so wonderfully fantastic when I've completed another CCPP Day - I've come a long way since I hated running now I absolutely LOVE it!
Must be the endorphins... right?
Yeah it was a good workout today

Today was that day yet again!
If you're not sure what the heck I'm talking about then let me ramble on K?Anyways..... I did CCPP with the add on challenge for this month which was challenge 1 of V7 today's workout consisted of 91 min and 10 sec... not including the 2 stretch tracks I added to my playlist.
The last Saturday of each month many of us here in CatheNation along with Coach Sean's forums decide to do a collective workout together using CCPP or Choose Living Press Play workout <--- That's the link.

Vilma, those endorphins are wonderful aren't they?
Your blog touched me so much. As you know I lost my FIL and I dedicated my workout to him. Then I really got choked up when I read the 8-23 date....that is the day my FIL passed and was my late Father's Birthday. It's strange how connected we are....we just click, eh? |
