Today we are going to State Fair and I can't wait!

We were originally going to go a week ago Friday but hubby had a little bicycle accident and all our summer plans were suddenly put on hold.

So today is the final day of the fair and we finally get to go! Yipee! I hope we make it before the animals (or more accurately their owners) pack up and leave.

Can't wait to have a cream puff, bison burger and 25 cent flavored milk (I like root beer)....

My husband broke both his elbows in a bicycle accident almost 2 weeks ago. He was in splints on both arms for a week with the first 2 days being the worst. Worst for him AND worst for me.

Today I went to the visitation of a friend and co-worker who died of cancer at the young age of 44 leaving 3 girls behind - ages 12, 14 and 17.

We worked together for 20 years in the same department in our company and our company isn't very big. To say we knew each other well would be an understatement.
