Day 26 - January 26, 2009

Another stressfully, busy day at work. I was literally typing and mouse-clicking (mostly clicking) as fast as I could for 11 hours today. I'd gladly hand it off to someone else to do IF 1) We had a person who was actually available or willing to work overtime AND 2) If it didn't involve actual decision-making and thought process behind it. I don't mind being busy but when you're going as fast as you can and feel like you're barely treading water, it gets to you.
DH wanted to go to a friend's house tonight and do some wood-working (part home-improvement, part male-bonding). I thought I could leave at 6 but didn't end up leaving until 7:15 p.m. People kept coming up to me with critical problems - security doesn't work, transport needed before client copy tonight.
Poor DH had to cancel. He checked off both kids from their homework, made dinner and even sat down to discuss DD's high school choices for next year. What a guy!
Without his support, I would have truly lost it by now.
Despite having such a crappy day, I did NOT binge today. I wanted to. But I didn't. Had 1725 calories which is more than I'd like but not bad.
Workout this morning was Butts & Gutts Leg Blast premix. Having that pre-DOMS kind of feeling where your body is JUST starting to feel sore and you know by the next day you'll barely be able to walk.
