I've been missing from the blogging world for awhile now. Work was beyond crazy and I barely had time to do my workouts, much less blog about it. Things are saner now and I'm trying to get back in shape. I did a LOT of stress eating since last September and it started to show around my middle. I referred to my newly expanded waistline as "fluffy" but there was nothing cute about it.

First Day of Spring

I like spring - especially that first warm day where the temps surpass 70 degrees, you don't need a coat for the first time all year, kids like my DS11 decide to pull out last year's shorts (only to find they've grown 3 inches since last summer and they're too short!) and I can finally walk OUTSIDE without fear of slipping on some ice. Sitting here on the computer trying desperately to avoid going into the kitchen and eating Pringles and ice cream. My brain says "No" but that hasn't always stopped me in the past.

Workout today was Tamilee Webb's Tighter Assets Cardio Blast and Leaner Legs abs. Patting myself on the back for not going back to bed instead of working out. I wanted to, trust me. Once I got going I was okay. {Sigh} Isn't that always the case? That getting started is the hardest part?...

First off, thanks so much to Tinksmomtrying and Elle_p for their supportive words and advice. Not that I would wish my struggles on anyone but it helps getting advice from people who understand and have been through or are going through the same battle with food.

Yesterday was a good day. We went out to eat at Applebees and I had WW Steak & Portobellos. Yum! It filled me up and satisfied me so much that when I came home and logged my meal on FitDay I realized I still had calories...

I can't explain Thursday and Friday. Both days finished up with dinner within my allowed calorie range and me telling myself "Okay, I have this" and then BOOM along comes a binge.
