Eating:
I'm still doing well with the eating. I have noticed over the last few weeks that I'm no longer using food to deal with stressful situations. In fact, it is the opposite! Instead of overeating, I'm doing other things and not even thinking about food. There may still be instances with occasional overeating but I feel it is normal now and not the problem it used to be.
Weight Loss:
Lost another lb and 2" last week so the slow and steady pace continues. But it's all good because I will get to where I want to be and I'm doing things now that are not specifically geared towards losing weight so I know it will stick. Still working my way to that second milestone of 190 (probably somewhere in early-to-mid July).
Fitness:
I started doing a schedule of 3 days of workouts followed by one rest day. I think it will work well for me for awhile. This week has had some extra rest days but I'm not bothered by it. I think I'm finally reaching a place of balance in all things (not just workouts). It's OK to skip a workout or take other rest days - it's not the end of the world if I miss a workout one or two days. What matters is that I am working out and listening to my body. And sometimes stuff just happens and the workout doesn't get done.
Workouts this past week:
Overall Well-Being:
Sleep is still continuing to improve and it's important for me to try to establish a regular routine during the week as well as weekends.
I am finally happy to be reaching a place of balance in everything - I'm not obsessing over every single thing with food, workouts, work, whatever. Like in yesterday's blog, I finally learned to let go and just let things be. And remember that negative comments or criticisms from other people are just them sharing their opinions and I don't have to internalize anymore. And I would much rather stay this way than go back to how I was before.
Conclusion:
Great!
