My fitness level is improving!

I'm all happy today because I have seen this week that my fitness level has started to improve!!! All that hard work is paying off. Some days are better than others but overall I am able to do more than I could when I started back into exercising nine weeks ago.

I just completed today's workout: Cathe's Low Max. It's 70 minutes of step aerobics - 7 step combos with 7 intensity blasts. It is tough! When I first started, I could do the step combos with breaks but couldn't complete any blasts. Slowly I was able to do the combos with no breaks and a couple of blasts. Today I completed the WHOLE THING and NO BREAKS!!! It felt awesome!! The funny thing is that I wasn't expecting to be able to do it today - I was just trying to see if I could do one more blast than last time. I got to the fourth blast, then did the 5th, 6th and the last one and realized I didn't have to stop or take breaks. I was working really hard during a few of them but I finished!

It was the same earlier in the week with Cardio and Weights and Low Impact Circuit cardio premix. I was able to do the entire workouts without breaks and the more intense blasts and moves as well.

I still have a long way to go but I am definitely encouraged by the improvements I have made so far. And it makes the workouts even more fun than they were to begin with!
