finally learned to let go

I have finally learned to let go of all the silly stuff regarding work. I had been doing well for the past few months but still had not reached the point where I could let go and just let things be. The odd little thing would get me worked up or I would allow someone to pull me into their drama.

This week pretty much decided it for me. Something positive can come out of a negative event. I won't go into detail but there was something this week that really bothered me and rightfully

Regrets, criticisms...I've had a few

The past two days have been interesting in a way - things popping up to test my resolve and what I choose to do moving forward.

Have I had a few regrets...absolutely! I actually have a lot and it's time to let them go. Most of them are things I can't change but many of them are things I can start changing. For example, I regret not having the confidence when I was younger to try things and not care what other people think. I missed out on a lot. But I don't have to continue the pattern....

My fitness level is improving!

I'm all happy today because I have seen this week that my fitness level has started to improve!!! All that hard work is paying off. Some days are better than others but overall I am able to do more than I could when I started back into exercising nine weeks ago.

I just completed today's workout: Cathe's Low Max. It's 70 minutes of step aerobics - 7 step combos with 7 intensity blasts. It is tough! When I first started, I could do the step combos with breaks but couldn't complete...

First milestone reached - bye bye 200s!

YAY!!! First weight milestone reached today...I dropped under 200 lbs (199.8)!

It is kind of bittersweet in a way because my highest weight before was 198 and I didn't think I would ever reach it again let alone go higher. It was unnerving to see that I had regained the weight and gone into the 200s (up to 210). But it was the turning point to finally start taking care of myself and end this unhealthy cycle.

In the past eight weeks, I have lost on average a lb a week...
