Week in review: June 4-10

Eating:
I'm still doing well with the eating. I have noticed over the last few weeks that I'm no longer using food to deal with stressful situations. In fact, it is the opposite! Instead of overeating, I'm doing other things and not even thinking about food. There may still be instances with occasional overeating but I feel it is normal now and not the problem it used to be.

Weight Loss:
Lost another lb and 2" last week so the slow and steady pace continues.

finally learned to let go

I have finally learned to let go of all the silly stuff regarding work. I had been doing well for the past few months but still had not reached the point where I could let go and just let things be. The odd little thing would get me worked up or I would allow someone to pull me into their drama.

This week pretty much decided it for me. Something positive can come out of a negative event. I won't go into detail but there was something this week that really bothered me and rightfully

Regrets, criticisms...I've had a few

The past two days have been interesting in a way - things popping up to test my resolve and what I choose to do moving forward.

Have I had a few regrets...absolutely! I actually have a lot and it's time to let them go. Most of them are things I can't change but many of them are things I can start changing. For example, I regret not having the confidence when I was younger to try things and not care what other people think. I missed out on a lot. But I don't have to continue the pattern....

My fitness level is improving!

I'm all happy today because I have seen this week that my fitness level has started to improve!!! All that hard work is paying off. Some days are better than others but overall I am able to do more than I could when I started back into exercising nine weeks ago.

I just completed today's workout: Cathe's Low Max. It's 70 minutes of step aerobics - 7 step combos with 7 intensity blasts. It is tough! When I first started, I could do the step combos with breaks but couldn't complete...

Week in review: May 21-27

Eating
My eating during the week is pretty good but I still have to watch the overeating on weekends. I'm guessing it is the lack of structure and sometimes boredom on weekends that has me munching more than usual. This past weekend was better so I just have to be more aware of it. I also still have to work on planning my meals but I have a bunch of new vegan/vegetarian cookbooks and am excited to try a bunch of new recipes. So I will be doing some planning this weekend.
