Oh does the flood ever stop? DM started her new chemo and they upped the does of the bad (harsh) drug from 40 to 140. She has nausea, heartburn and constipation and is truly suffering and I feel so bad that I can’t do anything. Well sorry I've been so long getting back. DM has decided not to come up here but to start the new chemo treatments sooner. She figured that gave the tumors less time to grow. So she has a month off to take care of getting a new stint in the ureture and dental work and let her body build up some strength.

Crazy exhausting day at work. I love what I do but some folks have no idea how long something takes so I have them hounding me and threatening to send it out. Grrr! Makes me mad and scared that they will think I'm not working hard and get rid of me. One of the problems with being the only one who does what you do at a company. Well enouugh of that.

I can’t believe how quickly things can do a complete 180. When DM had her first PET scan she was told there was no sign of cancer. But later after talking to the Dr. and pressing him for information she found out that the tumors had shrunk. She continued chemo and has had her second PET scan last week and the preliminary report is that the cancer has not only grown but spread to her lymph glands. She is totally depressed, understandably, and I feel so helpless. She has an appt with the oncologist...
