Back on Track

After last week, I made sure to track all of the food i ate and it worked. I weighed in yesterday and i had lost 2.8lbs!

The program works if you stick to it but some weeks are easier than others. I really have to be mindful and write everything down as i eat it, otherwise it's so easy to forget.

I've also been sticking with my yoga workouts: a mix between my own practice and my Shiva Rea DVD's. I'm enjoying it right now even though i still feel like i should be fitting...

Sit Down Next Time

I wasn't able to workout in over a week due to various aches and pains.

My arm was so sore from a vaccination shot i had. It was really swollen and the pain went right down to my hand. This lasted almost a week!

In addition to this i had a stupid fall that resulted in a really painful right leg for a few days. I was trying on a pair of really high heels while standing up. I got one of the shoes on and was balancing on it trying to get my other shoe off and i went...

Day 1: Beginners Rotation

I haven't blogged here in a really long time and i have also been going up and down with my workouts. I think this will help keep me accountable so here i go again!

I'm feeling very "out of shape" recently so i decided to start at the beginning with Cathe's beginner rotation.

Day 1: Basic Step + Lower Body Add-on. This was a pretty decent workout. I'm very familiar with basic step so i knew I would be able to do the whole thing with no problems but it was still...

Shoo-Shoo Flu!

Ugh! I was sick a few weeks ago and still had a bit of a lingering cough and then i got sick all over again this week!

I need to restock on some Cold-FX and boost my immune system.

So, i rested and went to sleep really early the last few days. I'm feeling ok today so i'm planning on excercising tonight after work even though i still have some sniffles.

My energy level was up when i got home today so i took advantage and did Body Fusion.

I have been putting in a lot of hours at work and busy getting my house ready to sell so i have been keeping my workouts fairly basic & simple.

If i get home really late and am feeling kind of tired then i at least pop in Basic Step or do some Yoga. My motto this week is "Just do SOMETHING!"
