SOS: Same Old Situation

I'm halfway through my second week. Progress is slow and i'm worried about that because results are what keep me motivated. Mostly, I'm worried because i've been in this sos so many times before and I really don't want to lose my motivation, give up and continue to be unhappy with my body.

I still want to fit into my guess jeans again. That's a long way off. When i was wearing those i was 25 punds thinner. I was expecting to lose at least 2lbs the first week and that didn't happen....

Establishing New Patterns

Today My plan is to attempt Turbo Jam for the first time with Lower Body from Basic Step.

I'm also going to pay more attention to what i'm eating this week. I managed to cut out the chocolate and chips last week since i had been indulging a little too much recently.

One thing i do know about myself is that it's easier for me to have none rather than a little bit. I can't do a little bit. I can't have "just a little bite to satisfy the craving". If i'm craving...

Standing Still and Rising Up

Week one completed and the scale did not budge! I thought i was eating ok but i will need to take another look i guess. It may also be PMS so i'm not going to freak out or anything. I need to remember that it's going to take some time to get back into the swing of things and there are going to be highs and lows. I was hoping to see some progress after the first week but at least the scale didn't move up right? Standing still is better than moving up!

In an effort to not get obsessed...

Fitness Friends

Today's workout is completed: Basic Step + Upper Body. I'm not a big fan of using the tubing for upper body but i'm trying to do the workouts as is instead of subbing in hand weights.

I no longer have fitness-minded friends at work (they have left the company for various reasons). I find being around people with similar interests helps to keep me motivated and inspired which is why i'm back here. Blogging and checking in keeps me accountable and motivated. It's very easy to get lazy...

Planning Ahead

I have plans for Thursday evening after work. It's my Step-Son's confirmation so i'm not sure when i'll get home.

According to Cathe's beginner's rotation i have Stretch Max scheduled for that day and if i only do one routine from that DVD it's 20 minutes. In any case, since i'm not sure what time i will get home i decided to do it yesterday. I figure it's a bonus if i still do it Thursday and if not, i still completed all the workouts for the week. My legs were sore from Monday's...
