So now that i'm exercising i really need to get my diet under control. I don't think i eat TOO badly but i haven't really been tracking it on paper so i'm sure i'm probably shoving more than i need to into my mouth.

This has been slowing down my weight loss and i don't want to be wasting my time working out only to sabotage it with food.

Week 4

So today marks the end of week 4. Overall, i'm feeling good about the progress i have made over the last four weeks. I eased myself back into a regular exercise program, I feel more energetic and strong, and the scale is moving in the right direction.

The scale is down again today so i'm pleased with that. I have taken Petramom's advice and try to weigh every morning so i can see my fluctuations day to day and maybe get more understanding of my body's natural patterns.

According to the teachings of my Guru, there are five points that make a complete yoga practice:

-Proper Relaxation
-Proper Breathing
-Proper Exercise
-Proper Diet
-Positive Thinking & Meditation

All of these aspects work together to bring out the maximum benefits of your yoga practice. If you ignore one and or focus only on one area your practice is not balanced and you won't progress as fast or reap the full benefits.

So the scale finally moved. It's down 1.5 which is a start even though it took more than two weeks!

Food: I've been logging my food intake this week which makes me more aware of what i'm eating. I'm still avoiding snacking in front of the TV.
I was drinking green tea at work in the mornings and i heard that it may cause bloating so i decided to switch to peppermint tea instead. I don't know if it's true or not but it's not a big deal for me to stop drinking it. I'll have to...

So here's the ugly truth: I completed my SECOND week and my scale still did not budge! WTF????
I have to admit that i really did not even want to post this however i want to be as honest as possible and what better place right?
I am really trying not to obsess on that freaking # on the scale but i gotta say it ain't easy! While i have not been super strict with my diet i have been eating better than i have in months so this is really discouraging. After week one i suspected that...
