Sit Down Next Time

I wasn't able to workout in over a week due to various aches and pains.

My arm was so sore from a vaccination shot i had. It was really swollen and the pain went right down to my hand. This lasted almost a week!

In addition to this i had a stupid fall that resulted in a really painful right leg for a few days. I was trying on a pair of really high heels while standing up. I got one of the shoes on and was balancing on it trying to get my other shoe off and i went...

So i haven't blogged in a while but i'm still following weight watchers and the scale is continuing to move down.

I haven't been exercising as much but i haven't completely stopped either so I'm going to try and improve in this area.

I'm also trying to get in more fruits & veggies but i really have to make an effort to do that.

Overall, i'm feeling pretty good about the progress i have made: I'm 11.8lbs lighter, i'm exercising, I'm not bingeing but...

Week 7 on WW

Since i joined Weight Watchers I have lost 10.8lbs. I still need to work on eating more fruits & veggies but i'm happy that it's working and that i can eat everything i want as long as i stay within my points for the week.

I haven't worked out at all in more than a week. I was really busy with work deadlines and then i got sick. I'm trying not to stress about it too much. I've been resting this week and allowing myself to recover.

Stuff is going to happen...

Balancing Act

I've always had a problem trying to fit in both yoga and other forms of exercise like Cathe. When i focus on my yoga practice, I neglect other forms of exercise and when i focus on doing more Cathe workouts, my yoga practice suffers.

In the past i've tried various methods in an attempt to find a balance between the two but i haven't found something that has worked long term.

Since May, I've been focusing on doing Cathe workouts and as a result my yoga practice has suffered....

Making it Stick

So I had a great first week on the Weight Watchers program. I lost 3.2lbs and i already realize how much i was actually eating.

Of course, the first week was easy because there is always some excitement and enthusiasm when starting something new. Making it stick is more challenging especially when the enthusiasm starts to wane after the first few weeks. I've set smaller goals in an effort to stay motivated and not get discouraged about how far my final goal seems.
