Meso 3, Week 2

Got through Chest & Back (Disc #28) workout on Monday. A good, solid workout. Stuck with target weights, or went higher. I'm surprising myself on Barbell Rows. Target weight was 40, and I could do 50 fairly easily. Stuck with 65 pound target weight for Barbell Rows, and focused hard on form. Lower reps help. Target weight for chest flies was 19 pounds, but I rounded it up to 20. Thinking I could have gone a bit higher. Will try to push it harder next time. Followed it up with the Extended Stretch.
Tried to get through Plyo Legs (#26) on Tuesday. Once again, my left knee started acting up early in the workout (
). I wound up carefully doing most of the plyo moves, and just some of the early weight work, using light weights.
Took Wednesday as a rest day. B & I had to make a quick run to Omaha to diagnose a computer problem for my folks. They'd been down for a couple of days, and were going through withdrawal. They're 77, and can't live without email and internet. Gotta love it.
They blew another monitor, and easy fix. After we got home, I spent some time with my faithful foam roller, hoping to loosen up my legs a bit.
Tonight was Legs, with the squat rack. Right away my knew acted up. Then it was Cathe to the rescue! Seriously! During one of the breaks she talked about form during squats. When doing squats bend at the hip, not the knees. Had I gotten careless? Yup. Apparently so. Paid closer attention to form on the next set, and it made a huge, huge difference. Thank you, Cathe!
The rest of the workout went well. Target weights where I have them. Pushed it as high as I could on the others.
Since I'm nearing the end of my STS rotation, it's time to start looking ahead. What's next? Didn't want to think about this too early for fear of jinxing myself. So, what do I want to do? I don't want to lose what I've worked so hard for during STS. Will have to think about this for a bit. Thinking I'll do a 3-month STS rotation after STS Cardio is available. I'm really curious to see how well the two mesh. Until then ???
