DOMS in lower body are a bit better.
Today's workout is my 9 mile long run....planning on hitting the trail after kids go to Rec. I'm a bit afraid of running on that trail to the 4.5 mile mark alone, so I'll go to the 2 mile marker, return, repeat, then add 1 mile on. It feels 'safer' to me to stay closer to the parking lot and beginning of the trail.

Today's journalled food:
8am 2 egg whites, 1/2 ww pita
11:15am Myoplex Lite Shake (after long run)
12:30pm slice pizza (Mivajo's), salad greens with balsamic vinegar
5:00pm 4 oz grilled salmon, 1/2 sliced cucumber, purple potatoes with garlic and 1T EVOO (should have eaten something between lunch and dinner, but kids and I were on the road running errands and I didn't bring anything with me)

Today's long run HURT! It was bad, and SOOOO SLOW!!! I was fine till mile 2 when the bathroom urge started. Mile 3 and my PF started to hurt. Mile 4.3 (halfway) and I had to go to the bathroom BADLY....but put the urge off (there was no bathroom and nothing for me to wipe with if I decided to 'go' in the woods). I ended up walking a few times, but each time I started up with running again, my PF hurt worse. It can't get worse than this, right???
