Closing out week 2
Posted 10-12-2008 at 08:50 AM by banslug
Today closed out week 2 of my current rotation (BFL). It's actually the third straight week of intense and consistant workouts, but the last 2 were BFL. These 2 weeks, I've kept by the BFL book for weights, cardio and eating. This week, I'll keep the eating and weight plan the same, but for cardio, I think I'll add in some iTreads to get some distance.
This week, the challenges begin with the kids' Birthdays. Zach turns 8 this coming Friday and Jacob will bbe 11 on the 29th, which means BDay celebrations for the next 2+ weeks!
I will stay focussed on clean eating and keeping my fridge stocked. I'll concentrate on the company, not the cake.
After the beginning of this school year and the out-of-control feeling of being busy, lazy and over-extended, I am feeling in the groove and in control again, of EVERYTHING! I read Eat, Pray, Love and it hit home on several points. I've decided to stay home whenever we don't have anything on the calendar. We've been biking to places, like the school, basketball practice, and just for the heck of it. I'm focussing on relaxing and enjoying the time at home with the kids. It makes a huge difference to DECIDE to NOT participate in the craziness of everyday life.
Here's to another strong week.
KEEP ON TRUCKIN'!
