Day 1

I've been getting L-A-Z-Y the last few days, letting my guard down, with my eating. Trying to find one excuse after another why I can wait till tomorrow to eat right again. I've got a fridge FULL of yummy clean food and meals. TODAY!
Back in control TODAY! There will ALWAYS be an excuse NOT to do it.

Recording my meals as I go:
9am: Myoplex Lite Shake after workout
10am: 2 mugs hot green tea
11:15am: homemade Tuscan Chicken Soup
1:30pm: 2.5 oz sliced turkey breast, 1/2 ww pita, 1 wedge LC cheese
3:30pm Myoplex Lite Choc Choc Crisp bar (shouldn't have had this, should have chosen something else but I didn't want TOO much before dinner....will NOT have one of these tomorrow)
6:30pm 3 oz grilled chicken breat, 1/3 baked sweet potato, steamed green beans
9pm.....so if I had this AWESOME day of filling and clean food, please tell me WHY my BRAIN insisted I have some kettle korn, 2 scoops of cookies n cream ice cream, 2 chocolate zucchini cupcakes and some animal crackers??? WHY do I do this? I wasn't hungry. I wasn't alone (kids were with me and they had a friend sleeping over). I wasn't bored (we were watching a show and playing a game). UGH!!!!

You know what's funny? The last couple of days I have really felt like binging, but decided to do it within the boundaries of my South Beach diet. I couldn't find anything to binge on! It was so boring, I just couldn't be bothered. So I ended up sticking to the plan despite myself. When you take carbs out of the equation, binging is just no fun at all!
